Ducky's Marine & Powersport Repair

Ducky's is a great place to take your boat or powersport repair and maintenance needs in Okoboji. They have experienced, fast service. I do think they're expensive, but so is almost anything in this tourism area; just the way it goes.

First time visitor at this business. I am optimistic that this will be a good place to do business! Stay tuned!

Can't say much yet, went to look at Yar Crafts but they were already put away for winter, however the owner(?) Did offer to take me over and show them to me, I just didn't have time but I will in the near future, rode in several and they are fantastic fishing boats.

These guys are great! They winterize, store, and get our boat ready to hit the water for the summer. Great customer service! It doesn't stop there either they work on all of our toys as well including pwc, snowmobiles, and utvs. These guys have you covered. Highly recommend them in the lakes area! They have earned our business for years to come!

After having my boat looked at numerous times by others, I called Ducky's Marine and I am glad I did, he was able to quickly diagnose the real issue and it runs better then it has for years. I was impressed with his honesty straight forwardness. Always answered or returned phone calls quickly even though he was very busy. I have never had my boat stored but will now with him because he cares about his customers.

The owner Josh is rude. He doesn't answer his phone professionally, tells you he will be able to look at your jet skis next week" for 4 weeks. He is more interested in getting out his storage boats for customers than looking at our jet skis. I understand they make him more money

Very helpful! I had an ice auger repaired. Not only fixed right, they opened up on new year's day to return it to me. Didn't want me to miss the bite". Wow!"

Josh is extremely rude over the phone. We scheduled an appointment a week ago for him to put our boat in the water today . Today we heard nothing all day. We called him at about 4:30 just to see if we could still expect him to come today, and over the phone we were told storage customers take priority, even though we were never told that when we set up the appointment. Luckily we were able to find a friend who could help us put the boat in the water today. After getting the boat in the water, we called Josh out of courtesy to let him know that we had helped him and found someone to drop the boat, and we were then told “to take our business elsewhere as he wouldn’t work on our boat again”. Then he hung up on us. After 4 years of doing business, we’re done with his poor customer service attitude. We have already found another service provider. Let us know if you are tired of Ducky’s as well, and we’ll let you know where to go.

Best marine service secret in the lakes area. Josh is a certified engine specialist and has over 20 years experience. Great service at a fair price.

Called with a snowmobile not running right, told me to bring it in the next day and had it tuned up and ready to go that day. Also looked it over and found other issues that definitely needed repaired that I had missed, technicians called and made sure it was ok to go ahead with the repair (appreciated the heads up rather than getting a surprise on a service ticket). Technicians were very helpful when asked for pointers on adjustments/maintenance. Good service to the lakes area!
