Achingly cool, beautiful designs tending towards a dark, chic, wearable vibe. Denis Gagnon made history several years ago with a solo exhibition featuring his work at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. His shop and atelier in the Old Port area offers a wide range of gorgeous clothes made on-site by the designer and a small staff, and the prices are surprisingly affordable considering the superlative workmanship and quality materials. (Check out the small but astonishingly plush fitting room... I wanted to move in!) Highly recommended.

Unprofessional behaviour with the customer my friend buy the special Top from this store and want to exchange it not even refund it they said this is their policy to not exchange or refund after 30 days and this is their policy,When i aksed where did you mentioned your return policy because the reciepe does not have anything about this he response its here in my computer , series???how could the customer know about their policy without writen return policy on the recipe??The funny part is when i asked him please print your policy he says i’m going to printed in French, i asked him i do not understand french and here is Canada,(Bilingual free Country) he response here is the Quebec and we are talking French and you have to learn french,and start talking to me in French,Really?? Are you kidding me? Is that mean the Customer service??? Is that mean we spent $350 for that Top and they are response like this?? At last because i asked him you need to have the English version as well he was mad and start shouting.Guys you have to becarefull about them.

FRAUD ALERT!!! Somehow this company got a hold of my credit card number through a third party vendor called Blackhawk Network and charged $650 on December 18, 2020, and tried to charge another $700 today (Dec.19, 2020) - well card is now cancelled and fraud investigation is now underway! Stay away! FRAUD ALERT!!!

Horrible service, walked in to the store and the sales person didn’t bother to greet us. Then when I asked to try on the dress- I was told that they are closing soon and I need to HURRY UP. When I asked to try on different size of the dress I was told by te sales person that it’s not going to fit nice BECAUSE OF MY BODY.This is the exact werbage the sales person used. I lost any desire to spend my money there although the pieces were really beautiful. Would not recommend anyone who is used to good service and doesn’t speak french. Anna

If you ask any Montreal-born person to name three local fashion designers, chances are they will name Denis Gagnon. The fashion designer has been working in the field for decades, and he's one of the best and the most recognized for his work. Expect a lot of black, a lot of unique details, and a style of its own, in-between elegant and avant-garde.In his beautiful two-stories boutique in Old Montréal, you'll be able to find the designer's current collection, accessories from other local brands, and the best part - the designer himself. His atelier is located behing the boutique, and here's there evey day with his seamstress to create pieces for the store. When you buy a Denis Gagnon piece, you are guaranteed to buy something that was handmade by the designer himself. When you are aware of that, let me tell you that you realize how (very!) affordable his clothes are.Since he's there every day, you can get any piece altered to your desire. The alterations' cost vary depending on much work it implies, but I've seen many that were as cheap as $5.The only thing that can bother: the sizes. Sizes run small there. If you're usually a Medium, try on a Large. The designer is fully aware of the situation, so whenever a piece of clothing doesn't fit or comes in your size, he can custom make it for you, according to your measurements. Sometimes for the same price, sometimes for a little extra.If you're in Old Montreal, make sure to stop by the store. You really won't regret it!
