Place looks illegitimate. No signage and nothing inside but three chairs. Was looking to sell a silver bar and there were some on the other side of the glass right in front of me. The one person there needed to make a phone call to see if he could buy silver. Any legitimate business will know what services they offer.

My mother went twice to this location to buy foreign currency. The first time Sud (not sure of spelling) promised her that it would take 1 month to get the currency and to return then. So one month later she returned and no order had been placed so she asked again - again he said it would take a month. Today I went with my mom to get the promised currency and Sud pretended he didn't know her. She is an elderly lady who made two trips to collect this currency - we went to Money Mart and received EXCELLENT service and was told she could have the currency she sought for in TWO BUSINESS DAYS NOT AN ENTIRE MONTH.

They sell currency at a higher rate their web site rate. It’s about 8% higher. Also they only exchange $100.00 USD. NO smaller bills.

These people running the Columbia Currency are neither professional nor honest!I am writing my experience only because I'd like to give a serious warning to future and prospective customers of the store for their own sake.This business owners are selling gold and silver coins and bars as well as currency exchange, and I was recommended to buy those coins and bars for a kind of investment by the old man, who is father of Saad Khan(, who gave himself 5 stars here below) when I was there to exchange some foreign currency.I was too naive to trust that old man right then and booked some coins and bars for several thousand dollars; the old man said that the quality of them was world-best and the price unbeatable! Too good to believe, huh?. But, I believed that old man with respect, regarding him as my own father.As the 1st buyer of the kind, I valued and thanked his advice, not expecting the ominous consequence with their wicked tricks and rip-offs.When I was there to pick them up, his son Saad only was there saying completely a different story from what I had heard from his father.Well, I still wanted to be polite, not making any argument. And then, he showed the wonderful-conditioned shiny sample coins to me from behind the transparent screen. I at least got confident in what I would get soon.I right away paid the remainder before I really saw, checked, and possessed my very order, which was the most regrettable thing I did then. When mine was finally handed to me, the quality and condition were completely different. Those silver bars and coins looked so crude and cheap with yellow eroded stains everywhere. OMG!I questioned why I couldn't get those well-designed coins 1st because I'd never been given any choices; also, I asked whether they were really brand-new or used or flawed.He was just excited to be mad making me stupid and fussy, saying there was no difference in value and that the yellow stains were normal even for brand-new silver. What? Is it really true?I wanted to have those more-well-designed coins, but he said 'no', adding that I should pay more.Besides, there was neither certificates nor information on the maker and the origin provided despite my request several times.I finally wanted to refund all of them because when I booked for those, they said there would be no problem at all to return if I didn't feel satisfied with the purchased items in terms of condition, quality, or for whatever reasons. Then, what?Saad said intimidatingly that he could allow me to return, but he would only give me cut-down prices because those were already owned by me!!! What? How wicked he is!!I was so hurt, shocked, and frustrated with his brazen-faced attitude and arrogant behavior!Later, my husband was so furious when he came to know about it that he even wanted to sue the very people father and son, but I stopped him not to lose our time and energy on top of our money that had already lost.After that, I never, ever go back there, and it became my first and last trial to buy coins and bars in life, which ended up as a horrendous fiasco.I wrote this story only to help people and stop innocent buyers out there from being victimized like me by them. Also, a big lesson I learned from the very experience was that I shouldn't trust anyone that fully and naively. One more, I should never ever make a payment first before I am handed over the items!Of course, I paid almost double price to them for those coins and bars so that the very purchase was to dump my precious money, not to invest to grow my money in the future.I still continually blame myself harshly whenever I remember this horrible experience instead of cursing them! Stupid me!!

They don’t have anything, went in looking for Thai baht, nope… okay what about USD? Nope…. We’re 15 mins from the border and you don’t have any American? Won’t be back

2-3 weeks to get AUD currency? This is nuts I should have read the reviews prior to heading out there. If they don't have peso they won't have AUD.

This is the only currency exchange place in this Indian neighborhood. The owner is dishonest and can do whatever he wants. We had a chat with the customer in front of us while he was waiting for the owner to get the money from the back. He told us the exchange rate. When it came to our turn, we were given LOWER rate. We needed the same currency but half of his amount. Was the owner LEGAL to do that? No wonder we didn’t see any exchange rates posted on the wall like other places.We were glad that we walked away immediately as we found out later that our Citi card had better exchange rate and no fees.
