Myself and my travelling companion had just come from New Hampshire, and were on our way back to Kingston, Ontario, and we had just crossed the border after about a 6 hour drive. We were hungry, and did a search on our GPS for a restarant and this was the only hit. We were so glad we stopped! Wow, what a great place! It was about 1pm and the place was busy, mostly with locals! The owner was more than gracious, personally introducing himself, and helping us with translating and then walking us through his menu! The servers are excellent, the food is amazing! We were welcomed and had one of the best meals of our trip! One of those great little accidents when you are travelling! Highly recommended!

We stopped by on our way back after checking out a boat near Montreal, before heading back to Vermont. It was so good! Four of us ordered different burgers, while a fifth got fish and chips. All five of us were extremely happy with our choices. The staff was extremely friendly and food was out very quickly. The menu was in French, but the server walked us through the whole menu to help us pick.I plan on making a stop here on any future border crossings, and if you are in the area you should too.

Great little restaurant, a true gem. Best onion soup I’ve had, great fish and chips, coconut shrimp, lobster gueduille and more ! The owner and his wife and very hospitable . And the best of all, you can watch the sunset outside over lake Champlain .

Beautiful atmosphere, friendly service, delicious, high quality, large portions & great price. Can’t stress enough the quality for the price! Highly recommend. We got the coconut shrimp and rack of ribs.

What can I say about this gem, they say always the local food is the Best, as the saying goes the service and food of the Gilligan stands for it. We tried the popular Gilligan and chips, a plate of chicken wings with bbq side and a pack of jalapeno fries, gawwwd everything was finger licki'n delicious. The fish was my first recommendation, kudos to the service, the lady at the front handled us perfectly through her experience. Overall it's a hidden gem needs more attention

Great food with very large portions. Salmon fish and chips was amazing. Homemade sauces. Small dining area but easy parking lot across the street in quiet, local neighborhood. A great stop for anyone crossing the border.

This is a hidden gem!!, my Fiancé and I were just exploring Canada and came up with this delicious restaurant.The owner was SO nice and beyond, the chef (I think is her husband) was so incredibly nice and the food, omg, BEST burger we’ve ever had!This is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ For sure!Oh, btw, everything was sooo clean!!!We will definitely come back next time!

Closest restaurant to the US I-89/Canada 133 border crossing. Staff were so friendly, English was not a problem. Every dish we asked about was homemade. Worth the stop.

Best food I have had at a restaurant in a long time. I took the Pete burger and I wasn't dissapointed. It isn't your normal just plain burger, it stands out on its own and the cheese cake is out of this world. The staff are super friendly and wonderful , the prices are the best within two hundred kilometers, and you have a beautiful lake view to enjoy your meal. There is also plenty of parking. I couldn't be more impressed, thank you for such a treat. Will definitely come back again. P.s ( best date spot I have seen in a long time)
