The Village Idiot Bar and Grill
This place was a great introduction on our first visit to Revelstoke. The Kitchen Sink Burger is a meal that you won't find anywhere. Corn Fritters are made with the stickiest corn known to mankind but delicious. Pulled Pork is perfectly savory. Nice patio atmosphere and great service.

Was thinking of going to the brewery down the street but they didn’t open till 3. Found this amazing place instead. Pizza looked amazing but not for me today. Great atmosphere and food

This restaurant and pub was really good. The food was incredibly delicious (specially the pizza) with portions that were more than generous. The drinks were also fantastic, making it the perfect spot for a night out. I highly recommend this place - you won't be disappointed!

Was looking for a quick bite and Google showed this as the most popular place in town. Easy pick and we weren’t disappointed. Plenty of free parking around. Quick and friendly service.Crispy Tofu Tacos - taste better than they look. Tofu was well seasoned and crispy as promised. The sauces went well with it. The side carrot ginger soup was really good. You can tell everything was made with fresh ingredients.Caesars - very tasty! Though we didn’t like the pickle. Should have just gone for the regular ones.

Place was a fun and chill vibe. Decked out in skis and snowboard pieces, this place is definitely geared for the mountain folks. The food and drinks were delicious and our server was super sweet and helpful as we were tourists.

We visited early March, and deep into the ski season, the restaurant was packed, and our group of 4 waited maybe 20 minutes before we ended up sharing a long table with a couple of guys we didn't know but we're happy to share space with. Our server was great, the ambiance was 'ski chalet', the wait for food was reasonable and each of us fully enjoyed our choices and left happy. I personally had the 'We Found Dori' fish tacos with beautiful crusted fresh fish. *Chefs kiss. Totally worth a visit!

From the slow and unresponsive service to the underwhelming food quality, my visit was a disappointing affair.First and foremost, the service left much to be desired. Despite the restaurant being well-staffed, the service was incredibly slow, and the staff lacked a proactive attitude. It was disheartening to witness their lack of attentiveness and engagement with diners. Simple requests seemed to take an eternity to fulfill, and it became evident that customer satisfaction was not a top priority for the staff.Furthermore, the food itself was, at best, average. The dishes lacked the promised flair and creativity that had been highlighted in the positive reviews. The flavors were bland and unremarkable, leaving me yearning for more excitement on my palate. It was evident that the kitchen failed to deliver the culinary excellence that had been anticipated based on the restaurant's reputation.It was genuinely disappointing to have such a lackluster experience at a restaurant that had garnered numerous positive reviews. Amazing!! Food was unbelievable. Didn’t get a picture because it was gone so fast!! Fries are actually hand cut and delicious. The service is incredible, and the drinks were outta this world!

The Village Idiot Bar and Grill
I really enjoyed this place. Fits the ski/mountain bike town vibe really well. The decor is casual and intentionally rustic and cobbled together. The menu was full of cool unusual items and fun descriptions. I had a Buffalo chicken ranch pizza that I cannot remember the actual name of, but it made me laugh. I'm hoping to go back and get to try the other menu items at some point!I would absolutely recommend this place unless you only want to be fine chalet dining.

The Village Idiot Bar and Grill
Great pizza, staff were great but the restaurant was hot inside, it was 34 degrees outside though. Great selection of beer pizza and other entrees.We ordered burgers, pizza and drinks and none of it disappointed. The pizzas are creative and delicious.Pizza is nice thick crust. Atmosphere is family style and rustic inside with a true mountain town feel. There is an outside patio but it was too warm outside for us to try it out, but cold beers would help remedy that.
