The two recruiters that I work with were a waste of time… if they reach out to you for a job.. Grab the company details and go and apply them directly as they’re posting less than what the actual company would pay you... After I was ghosted... No professionalism or empathy was shown after they drop the ball on my application... It's an applicant market right now so don’t bother if you’re really looking for a job.. Manpower ain’t it lol..

I had the good luck to be working with Manpower as a temporary worker for several companies for some months, and my experience with them was really awesome and unforgettable. I would like to mention to Gabriel, a very proactive and hardworking HR consultant who was making me possible to work all the time, day after day every week. Thank you Manpower!

They have given me so much help. They stayed in contact until they were sure I was working. The use of Canada Post Epost (spam-free email inbox) is, in my opinion, a very good idea, no waiting for the weekly paystub. I walked into the office on the Friday before a long weekend. They found me an interview that day and I started the assignment on the Tuesday.

Bad experience with these guys, couldn't get my salary right on my offer, limited my contact with the company prior to receiving the offer. Was on site for a bit over a week before being dismissed by the company without reason. Told me manpower should have informed me before arriving that day. 3 weeks wasted pursuing a job that promised a year of employment before getting booted without cause. Watch out with these guys.

I applied for a warehouse job through Indeed.com. The next day, I was sent a text message from Manpower (the phone number was legit). However, after replying to them, I received a call from a personal cell phone number. The person on the other end of the phone claimed to have a job available for me in a different location about 2 hours away from my home. The person had a very thick French accent and claimed to be an agent from Manpower by the name of Priscilla. When we were talking, there was a lot of cut offs and the agent claimed they were in a bad location and apologized. After each sentence, there was utter silence. They then kept saying, “hello?”. I explained that they were cutting off too much. It was very strange. Then by their third apology for cutting off on the phone, their voice sounded almost pre-recorded. The agent continued to talk about the job offer and explained that they would pay higher. Before the phone call, I had seen an ad for the same job offer. In that ad, it was listed for minimum wage. The agent was offering at least $3 more than the minimum wage rate. I accepted the job offer and then was told to provide a void cheque, personal information and resume. Then it confirmed my suspicions, it was a legit scam. I had sent a resume out earlier to Manpower and it does not make sense for a hiring manager to request for another resume and on top of that, my email? The agent then said they would be in contact with me after the phone call. They also said they would send a text of the on location. But I did not receive it. I then sent them texts to see if they were going to reply back. They did not. Anyone out there looking for jobs, please be careful!

I would have given 0 stars if I had the option. One of the worst staffing companies in the Lower mainland. They will send you jobs which never match your experience and skills. I have more then 8 years of Call Centre and Customer Service experience and I was always being sent Labour jobs. They don’t check your resume to know about your experience and skills and just simply sent any job they need to get filled up by their clients. Don’t waste your time by getting in touch with this company. You will get a lot of spam emails from them.

Manpower Vancouver - For me the worst recruitment agency experience. Problems from the start till the end. I didn’t get any instructions how to create different accounts for payment. If there was a problem, which happened often, I always got an answer, we don't do this call Help Center. They gave me the wrong start time of an assignment, so I missed it. Several times, I was asking for a signed form and got an answer, I cannot sign it only mangers can. At the end, I could never get to them or they didn’t want to give me their contacts.
