Great store with reasonable prices. The staff however are extremely incompetent and unhelpful, especially at the self checkout. I have never been to a grocery store where the workers straight up refuse to acknowledge problems with the self checkout machines and decide not to help several customers waving for help.Please train staff better.

Was here at the 8th st Saskatoon coop grocery store shopping and needed a pineapple but couldn’t find any. Asked a handsome young gentleman named Andrew if they had some and he said a shipment had just arrived and went to the back to get me one. Solid dude. Thanks Andrew. I’ll be shopping here more often.

Today I went in search of Nanaimo bars! Walmart never heard of them so I showed them a picture! I ended up with a manager and still no luck!I went to the Coop. I walked up to the first person I saw and she led me directly to them! I didn’t even have to show her a picture! Way to go!

Bought myself some garlic coil, family pack hamburger, 2 french bread, grapes, romaine lettuce, sauerkraut, tomatoes and lilydale turkey bacon. I pack them into small packs to last me for the month...

The store is very spacious and very well organized. There is floral shop inside the store. The store is always very clean.

It is one of my favorite places to shop for groceries in the city. They have a very good deli and bakery with nice food options when you walk in. If I don't feel like cooking when I get home, I will get the chicken, which is good when fresh or sushi. The store itself has a lot of options so you can usually find what you want. The staff are also nice and hospitable.

After living in Hong Kong for over 20 years, I am astounded by the variety of food items and things we can get a supermarket. The Co-op on 8th Street has nearly anything I can think of. The design of the place is beautiful, the layout is sensible and the staff is friendly and pleasant. I am glad that shopping carts are not coin-operated. In addition, the pharmacy and staff there are superb; they are personable and helpful with any medications that I need for my ageing mom.
