- Worst experience ever- Infinite technical support loop- Stop the service immediately as I'm very tiredI just went through a technical support nightmare that I will never forget. I lost my connection for a few days. The first support was to unplug/plug cables and reboot the modem, they confirmed their signal was on, and the problem came from my own router which was out of their scope. The second time was to run a bunch of commands on my laptop and they said I needed another machine to run more tests while I could connect to other providers by my computer??? I requested a real tech savvy to help me but they said they could not make it. Best support service ever!!! I wish Google had minus star rating, so I can send them a million as a gift because they taught me the lesson so hard that NEVER TRUST VMEDIA.

Outages are frequent, customer service is hardly capable of basic conversation and have zero technical knowledge. Technicians fees constantly for unnecessary scheduling. Try any other provider.

VMedia was very easy to subscribe to with no contract, very low rates, and exceptional service. I am very happy with my VMedia plan and customer service is excellent for any questions/concerns.

I switched my service and was told no service call required, so I expected a clean transition. The changeover day came, and my previous ISP service disconnected, but I still hadn't received a modem from VMedia.When I contacted them to find out what's up, I was told they didn't have confirmation from the upstream provider, and so they hadn't even sent it yet. And oh, by the way, there's a possibility the upstream provider will decline and it won't ever get sent.No advance warning that that could happen, no notice that I was waiting for a modem that wasn't on its way and they KNEW that I was going to be unconnected for an indeterminate amount of time. Nothing to make up for my trouble, and an outright refusal to ship my modem immediately before they get the upstream confirmation, to limit any further downtime I'd experience once the confirmation does (if ever) come.So now I've been without an internet connection for 2 days already, and I finally get notice that the upstream connection has been confirmed, and the modem is just now being shipped. 2 day disconnected so far, and the estimated delivery of the modem is another 5 days away, leaving me without internet for a week.I was not warned this could happen, and had I known this would happen in advance I would've stuck with my previous ISP. They offered significant upgrades, discounts, and rebates to keep me, which I declined because I wanted to support an independent ISP against the big three, but so far I'm not at all pleased with my decision.

I am so happy i found vmedia. I was with bell before i moved and was not happy with them at all. Now i have great high speed internet at a great price and i am very happy. I also would like to add that i live in a rural area and i have no issues with my internet at all and we have many devices hooked up at once, well over 5 at a time. No problems when i have called customer service, always quick.

This has been the worst experience I have had with any company, not just internet providers. After disregarding the activation date and having no communication for weeks until I reached out, I was redirected several times and on hold for hours. I tried calling customer services over 20 times over the course of 3 days to which there was never a response. Not only then is the shipment late, it’s missing items. After a month of no internet while having paid a large sum, I went to cancel and to no surprise was not issued a full refund. Honestly amazing this company can operate with such a blatant disregard to the people they are “servicing”.

Very poor customer/technical support. Staff on the phone are barely coherent and difficult to understand. They all seem to read from the same script, because every time I phone I get the same response, without any useful answer to my question. Steer clear of this company definitely not recommended!

Always been given great customer service. I just wish they would get a more range for their mess routers. Other than that, I love the service I get.

Worst experience ever, very fast to charge your card, still no refund.I tried to get an internet connection with V Media, but they charged me even before getting the connection. The modem was received after a few days, but no one came for installation. I followed the instructions regarding installation but had no luck. I called support, and they were also not able to connect.I had to wait another few days for a technician to come, Rogers technician came to fix it, but It was not able to connect because of a faulty modem.Again, I called support and they asked to pay another 75 dollars before they could dispatch a new one. I had enough with these people and decided not to proceed any further.Just a waste of time. I again made another two calls for cancellation, and in the end, cancellation was done, and I got a partial refund.I never used their service, called support again, and they informed me the balance would be refunded after they received the faulty modem. I went to Canada Post and sent them the modem. I received a message saying they got the modem, but still no refund.On another call, a very rude customer care guy said they would process the refund. another 15 days gone still no refund. Another call made and this time they said balance will not refund and will be used against shipping cost.With another provider, I got internet the next day, they came and installed it. no hustle, and they took payment after one month.I finished one month subscription with other provider and still no refund.Called again, as per nice gentleman, balance refund was charged against shipping, after few argument I got balance refund. Not a pleasant experience and waste of time.Don't fall for the offers and choose V Media. It's best to go with local providers with no hustle, even when they are a few bucks higher.
