Food is good (some dishes better than others), location is great, atmosphere and staff are great. Order process is a little different, but service is quite fast. Non alcoholic establishment which is fine. Play area for kids and pray rooms are also available.

I've been going to Paramount since they first opened in Mississauga many many years ago. I've seen them evolve from a shawarma counter located in a strange industrial area (Crestlawn location) to a well known chain all over southern Ontario and beyond. It always used to remind me of the food I used to enjoy as a kid living in Dubai. Over the years, due to rapid expansion, they weren't able to maintain the quality and consistency of their food. A couple of times, the food was so under standard that I stopped going to Paramount altogether. I then happened to drop in with a friend a few years later and was happy to see that they have taken control of their food quality and taste, and brought it back pretty close to how it was back in the day. It was always a lack of consistency that was their issue - food, food portions and service. This continued to be the case with the Heartland location for a while after they opened. A couple of times, the food was extremely sub par. But I stuck with it and found that they improved over time.If you're looking for good, tasty middle eastern fare like grilled meats, shawarma, felafel, kebab, manakeesh, hummus, mutabbal etc, paramount is the place to go. Their freshly baked pitas have always been my favourite. It's a good place to go to with the family or friends and really enjoy a variety of foods and flavours. Keep in mind, it can get pretty busy, so call ahead and find out if they can put a table on hold for you. If you're doing take out, make sure you check your order before leaving the store. They can be pretty forgetful and may forget an item or two. Happened to me on more than one occasion, and then you get home and realize it. Until then it's too late. But otherwise, marhaba!

Each time I’ve gone to Paramount I’ve been sorely disappointed by the taste of their main dishes. The presentation is always impressive but the service subpar and the food mediocre at best. Best items on the menu are the Paramount Special and the Manakeesh. They also have some fairly good Baklava. As for the plates, I’m hoping they improve their flavour by adding more seasonings and spices.

Yes! Definitely! I would come back here for sure. The service was great and the food was amazing! We highly recommend sharing a platter for groups of 4 or more. You get such a great variety of food and everyone gets to taste it all. There’s a small enclosed play area for small kids and there’s lots of parking.

Very poor service, waited 25 minutes to get water, in a dirty glass. The tabouli salad was missing lemon juice, causing the salad to be dry.The chicken kabob looked like it was missing a piece. This location has only 4 servers and 200 people in the restaurant and a line up at the door.We were lucky to have the cook, deliver our food to the to our table in his dirty shirt and winter boots, because all (4) servers were completely busy. Our food was cold, it seemed like it was sitting there a while.Just when I thought I’d give Paramount a second chance, It was nothing but disappointing.Definitely not meeting customer expectations and franchise standards. Please save your time and money and eat else where.Dear Paramount what was the point of asking me to email you if you have no interest in replying?Customer Service sucks!!

It was the wife's birthday and we decided to try the Paramount. Dishes look good but the food was a bit too dry, not to to our liking. The rice only came when we were leaving even though they told us up front that it will take ten minutes but not that long we forgot about it completely and service was okay. All in all it kind of disappoint me. Below photos was what we ordered.

Great place for dinner. Table service for dine-in. We ordered the chicken shawarma and kafta dinner. The kafta kebabs were fresh and tasted delicious. The chicken shawarma were dry and not as good. Overall I would come back again but will skip the chicken shawarma.

I went at 7pm on a Tuesday. This place is located in a plaza with a lot of parking spots. The restaurant was not busy at this time; only about 5 tables were occupied. There is a sign at the entrance to seat yourself.Even though it was not busy, and we made eye contact with the server when we seated ourselves, he did not come over right away. We had to wave and ask for a glass of water each and a menu to look at while we wait for others to arrive. He told us we should order at the counter (ie look at the menu there) but we did not want to order before others arrived, we just wanted to read the menu.Despite the service quality, the food was good -except the desserts. We ordered their main plates - most of us ordered shawarma and they were delicious. But their dessert is not as good. We ordered Nablseih Kinafe based on their recommendation, but the cheese was not soft, it was hard to chew.

Went for breafast. I had remembered it being very popular for that but it turned out to be more of a dinning style. You can still have a typical lebanese breakfast at a reasonable price. The AC was so high,it was uncomfortable to eat though. All in all, the food was good.
