Ampro Electric

Back in January 2020, the motor that runs the blower for the large pipe organ at Wesley-Knox United Church died. We contacted two companies in London, but only Ampro Electric was enthusiastic about taking on the job. They came to the church, removed the entire blower and motor assembly and took it to their shop. The diagnosis: a failed centrifugal switch and worn shaft and sleeve bearings. They were patient with us as the church weighed various options. In the end, the church chose to have Ampro rebuild the motor. Which they did, and we are delighted with their work. The motor now has a new centrifugal switch, a new chromed shaft, new sleeve bearings, and addition protections in case of catastrophic failure. It performs just as it should and runs quieter that ever before, The project was completed within projected time and within projected budget. Tyler was first-rate removing and reinstalling the blower and motor assembly, and Roger was always available to discuss options and progress on the project. My sons furnace motor quit overnight and his home was getting pretty chilly. He had a furnace technician confirm confirm that the motor was indeed the problem, but the motors were back ordered four months! He suggested a new furnace. Yeah, right. $$$. We were able to find Ampro and talked to them about a motor replacement. Not only were they very knowledgeable over the phone, but they quickly found a sutiable one in their stock,We drove over and picked it up, and installed it. Perfect fit. I came in 15 mins before close, with a fan motor I needed replaced for my AC in the middle of a heat wave. Jason who was working at the time was able to get me a replacement motor and a very knowledgeable service tech from the back took the time to remove the fan, put on the new motor and wired it so it was ready to go. He stayed after close to finish this for me. Great service would highly recommend!!!

We had a technician and his apprentice today to service the main coolant pump on a CHP (central-heat-power) plant at Ridgetown College. We were in need of a savvy technician that would work with me to trouble shoot ideas. This technician was amazing, he didnt just take pump and fix it, he stayed and help me trouble shoot a very complex German system to figure out the main issue's. Amazing dedication to job. I'll update with tech's name when I get it, I forgot to ask cause we just worked :P.

I wish I could give this business more than 5 stars.From beginning toend I can only describe my experience with them as,A1 qualitycustomer service". The exhaust blower motor in my furnace went acouple weeks ago. So here we are (my family and I) in a bit of a panic. Myfurnace guy was too busy to even find me the part. I called a fewplaces before calling Ampro and wasn't satisfied with their customerservice nor their prices. Ampro was a one stop shop! They were efficient

Great team, great service. Guys helped get my seized fan blade off my burnt fan motor. Replaced it with the right unit. Had me on my way. Highly recommend.

Took my dust collector motor in because it wasn’t working. Took 5 days in total to get it back but that was because they were so busy. Got it back works great and reasonable price. Would definitely recommend this place.

AMAZED by the service!!! Brought in a 2 how electric motor for repair or replacement. They opened it up right on the counter, replaced a few parts. I was back on the road in 20 minutes with a properly repaired motor, and spared the cost of a new motor. I saved $400! Customer for life! Thank you Ampro.
