Terrible experience! Took this lady two hours for a two T4s. And tried to charge me almost $400 for it. Never asked me if she could go through my CRA account and laughed at the amounts I owed. So unprofessional and ignorant.

Some places deserve a 6th star, our tax agent Tracey was absolutely fantastic, very helpful and friendly, walked us through and explained everything to us. Very grateful for there last minute help, would definitely recommend!

My husband booked an appointment DAYS in advance- his appointment was today at 11am ; when he got there FIRST they told him they were running behind and it would be 20 minutes... he waited an ENTIRE hour plus and they took a walk in before him claiming he HAD to see the guy he booked with even though the person they were seeing was still not done and they took a walk in with another available agent? That's absolutely ridiculous. Booked appointments should be handled BEFORE WALK iNS. What was the point of booking an appointment days in advance if your just gonna take in a walk in appointment before the booked one. If the other agent was running behind that's on him. Not the customer. will be phoning to speak to a manager on Monday since when he wanted to complain to the manager theysaid he wont be in til MondayMy husband walked out. So you missed out on 50 bucks peryear for like 7 years worth of back taxes.Do your jobs properly.

Horrible experience last year, lady had no idea what she was doing, thought I’d give them another try this year, to find out the are only issuing refund in a prepaid MasterCard?! What a ridiculous idea. Save your time and energy and go somewhere else.

Today I was able to make contact with the Manager of this Office.Pam was very helpful, and wanted to know exactly what happened. She apologized for any inconvenience and by the time I got off the phone, I feel relieved and now will bring my taxes back to her office!Wasted my time!!I dropped off my Taxes and wife’s taxes on March 4th 2023. On March 8th I got a call saying our taxes were ready and to set up an appointment….SO WE DID and 7:30pm on March 9th.We showed up and 7:25pm and the secretary was lost, had no clue why we were there? Then after wait till 8 and listening her talk to friends getting there taxes done they told us our taxes WERE NOT DONE and kept telling us that the secretary’s friends had an appointment at 8pm and they had to be in at 8:00pmHate to say it we HAD AN appointment at 7:30pmThank you H&R block for wasting my time.

DO NOT go here for taxes.I had to walk Jonathan through every step of my taxes. He tried to tell me that I couldn’t write off a massage? Tax experts shouldn’t need me to tell them what can and can’t be a tax deduction. I requested to talk to a manager and they wouldn’t give me her information. Definitely going to try to get a hold of a manager for a refund.Stay CLEAR or filing taxes here.

Unfortunate can not rate zero stars. Will be phoning the head office tomorrow during regular business hours. Arrived for our 4 pm appointment promptly at 3:55, waited until 4:10 to be checked in. At 4:40 they told us they would probably not have time for us as they close at five. I told them we had an appointment that they confirmed multiple times and this was unacceptable. They came back again saying there was no way they could prepare our taxes. All this after them taking almost 5 hours to do our taxes last year! Why did we bother trusting them again? Very dishonest and poor business tact, avoid.

I recently had a very negative experience with a tax preparation service while filing my taxes for the first time. The staff member who assisted me was extremely unhelpful and unable to answer even basic questions about the process.When I asked about the Welcome Canada bonus, the staff member had no knowledge of it and couldn't provide any useful information. I was also disappointed to find that she was similarly unable to provide answers to my other questions about tax filing.I must say, the experience was truly disappointing, and I cannot recommend this tax preparation service to anyone. It is essential for tax preparation businesses to ensure their staff members are adequately trained to provide accurate information and excellent service.I hope this review helps others to avoid the same frustrating experience. If you are looking for a reliable tax preparation service, I suggest looking elsewhere.

The front desk attendant was amazing, kind and welcomed us right away. Our tax specialist that we were assigned to Anna at the highbury Oxbury centre was fantastic, helpful, kind and very thorough. She helped ease the stress of tax season. Will definitely return to h&r block in future.
