Was very impressed. Tractor buying rookie and my sales guy Frank was more than knowledge. Listened to my needs and went the extra mile when looking at the implements. Fully intended to check out more dealers but made my decision on my 2nd stop. Nice clean building super friendly staff.

Great customer service from the parts department as usual, my only grievance is their pricing for generic parts is really bad. Sadly they don't have the ability to compete due to JD policy so my 100% of nothing rule kicked in and I went to my regular local parts store and saved more than half on those items that are not specialized. Can't fault the guys in parts for what a bean counter in head office can't grasp.

I would certainly keep coming back to this dealership for the friendly and helpful staff. The following was how my relationship with this office began:I acquired an older model lawn tractor (LX178)when I bought my house(the previous homeowner left it). Having never owned a John Deere before I was quite excited. While the machine ran and cut it was full of challenges, so we had it picked up for inspection and service. Prairie Coast in Kamloops was very helpful and informative. Doug in parts told me my LX178 maybe old but a great machine and if I put a few dollars in it, I could be cutting grass for many more years. During the inspection and maintenance Stephanie called many times to keep me posted as to the progress. They made a list of the much needed and required repairs, and the nice to have repairs. Once the go ahead was provided, she called me back to say our plastic fuel tank was in very bad shape and broke during during cleanup. She said the shop will replace it at their cost, she was just calling to say it will be about two weeks until the part would arrive. Jeff, the delivery driver was also very friendly and informative. He confirmed what Doug had already said about this machine. Finally on delivery day, I made one pass on the back yard and a part from the front deck came off with a loud bang. We brought the part back to the dealer and Devon came out to explain what it was and he would see if they had a replacement. He came back out with a part and drove to my house put it on and adjusted the deck perfectly. He made a lap around the yard and told me it was good to go.Very sorry for this lengthy review, but I felt it was very important to provide detail about the friendliness, professionalism and integrity of this Dealership.Thank you Prairie Coast Kamloops. I look forward to years of your service.

so just had one driver in a truck with a trailer block the parking lot to the company I am with. when i asked him to move saying he couldn't park there, he was rude and wasnt there long. He was about 10 min. I'm sorry but if you have a truck and trailer, park where you can, NOT blocking other companies. HOW IGNORANT! called the company and owner" didnt state his name or status. he didnt seem to care either when I said his driver drove over the sidewalk and garden bed there. should've taken a pic. wont ever recommend them."

I had to edit my review. This is getting annoying. Wrong parts delivered. And again. We are 2 hours away and depend on a parts outfit to actually know what they are doing. And it is plus all the time and gas for driving, picking up wrong parts, taking the wrong parts into the local shop, being told they are wrong parts, taking the wrong parts back. Have nothing good to say anymore. I would definitely expect much better from an outfit like that.

We have a JD 7210, JD 6420, and a JD bailer. In the past, Prairie coast Equipment has had well trained and helpful staff, from their mechanics(technicians) parts , and accounting staff. Unfortunately, things have changes. In part because of their new corporate structure, and because the old guard has left, leaving behind capable but undertrained technicians. Even their phone in Prairie Coast Connect staff has failed to provide helpful information. When needing info on a coolant pump, not only did they not know where to find it on the tractor, they didn't know it had one. It shouldn't cost $1900.00 to change a fuse! Their billing has followed suit, and you are required to guess what you are being charged for. They are there to support the agricultural industry, but it feels like they are there to support their shareholders.

We had previously bought L120, 2520 with loader & mower, also D160 all from Kelowna dealer. Phoned there for a E170 mower, got a complete run around, they weren’t available, try Home Depot, and then tried to upsell me on another mower. We then emailed Ryan Watson at the Kamloops dealer, and was a pleaure purchasing a E170 from him, he ordered one in and they delivered to me. Thank you Ryan! Regards Derek
