I’ve been coming to LDHS for a couple years now. I’ve gotten my hair done from 2 different stylists prior but this time I went with Mimi. (Each time I’ve been has truly been a great experience and they have very experienced staff).Mimi is an exceptional hair stylist! She really ensured that she understood what I wanted and truly delivered. My hair turned out way ever better than I expected and doesn’t look damaged! Mimi was also very kind and offered me tea to ensure I was comfortable the whole time as the studio does get very busy on the weekends. Lisa was also giving out free doughnuts to everyone which was very nice.I’ve recommended this studio to all my friends throughout the years and they’ve also had great experiences. Will definitely continue to come back! ☺️

This place is a diamond in the rough and I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.Its probably the best hair bar in all of the GTA for lightening dark hair. Seriously, I’ve been to a bunch of hair artists who said they couldn’t lighten my hair without frying it off, but now I’m rocking snowy hair 3 weeks after my appointment. Super super happy. Customer for life.

I had an amazing experience with Alice. I came in with uneven, brassy balayage hair from a previous colourist and she turned it into something that I continue to love after months. The roots grew out nicely and the tone is still similar from my appointment. In addition, my hair continues to feel healthy. Having asian jet black hair and a history of hair that is difficult to lift, her expertise surpassed all the other colourist I worked with. She was fully booked for June and I tried looking for other colorist before my vacation, but I rather have over grown roots for my trip than have another person do my hair.

Amazing hair salon! I have been here a few times and I love my hair every time. Teresa is really talented and skilled. So is Sam! They communicate everything they are doing to your hair and are realistic. Thank you for my beautiful hair!

I booked a haircut and coloring with peggy and i love it. She was very detailed with the haircut and always made sure i am happy with the process, absolutely love the haircut and how it turned out. Also she colored a part of my hair to match the rest and you cant even tell the difference, she is absolutely amazing. Love this place, thank you❤️

I have been going here to see Kellie over the past few years now and I have to say, each and every time, she has been so consistent with her love of work with me and it shows through. My hair always comes out soft, healthy, alive, vibrant and refreshed. She has done colour corrections, balayages, partial highlights and more from caring for my roots and ends and toning what needed to be maintained. I have naturally dark hair and we have played with grey cool tones, bright neutral blondes and creamy beiges. She’s incredibly talented and works with what my wants are while understanding my hairs limits. She explains and clarifies what is realistic for what my hair type can achieve and I truly appreciate that. She has always been gentle, transparent and accommodating for me and I can’t thank you enough, Kellie! Thank you for always bringing my hair to light, literally too.

I’ve been going to this salon for years. They are top notch. Lisa is a hair goddess and makes your vision come to life while considering the integrity of your hair. Her mastery and customer service is second to none. Every colorist/stylist there does amazing work. Highly recommend this salon.

My first time at this salon and I enjoyed my experience here. I booked with Teresa and she was very sweet, professional, focused and knowledgeable. The girl that works the front desk was also friendly and welcoming. I definitely will be back.
