The Walkin Clinic on Bayview

I’m disappointed to see my experience was not an isolated one. The main doctor, Dr. Shahnaz Azimzadeh, was so unfriendly, rude, dismissive and actually had the gal to not only cut me off when describing any issues but tell me to come back later for a treatment as she was “too busy today.” Listen, your job is to treat and deal with people. If you hate your life and lazily rely on OHIP to guarantee your pay, SWITCH PROFESSIONS. DON’T go here and waste your time because the receptionists aren’t very friendly either and would probably be happier doing nothing.

I went to this clinic a couple weeks ago for a visit and the doctor barely even examined me although I was very concerned about my health condition and even though I asked her to prescribe me for an ultrasound she refused to do it and she just simply said that you are too young to be concerned which was not very reasonable for me !I was there maybe for 5 minutes and she seemed to be in rush and just wanted us to leave. they called me for a follow up on my blood test, it was a 30 second phone call and she was in rush again and when I asked her when is the best time to take my pills she said it doesn’t matter and I can ask my pharmacist about it !! what a unprofessional behavior, and they charged me for that 30 seconds as another visit!! unbelievable!please save your time and energy to find another clinic!

Worst receptionist ever. Never have I had a medical receptionist hang up the phone on me. This lady did it TWICE!Went there less than a year ago and Dr. Romanescu gave me a bloodwork requisition. I did the bloodwork but never got a call back to be informed of the results.My current doctor wants to see my last year’s results so I called this office again. The receptionist tells me that they have the results but won’t email it to me unless I make an appointment with the doctor. I argue that the appointment is not necessary but she says with a very rude attitude it is for confidentiality reasons and that it’s a huge responsibility for her to send me the results so she wouldn’t do it. I tell her that I can provide whatever information she needs from me to verify my identity but she still refuses. And when I was trying to explain why I am in a hurry to get my results, she would constantly talk over me and wouldn’t let me get one word out. I finally bursted and said could you let me talk please? and she told me in a condescending way: “I don’t have time to listen to you talk b/c I’m busy.” And in the midst of arguing she hangs up the phone on me not once but twice because she couldn’t give me an answer as to how is the doctor verifying my identity OVER THE PHONE different from her doing the same thing over the phone.I’m not sure if this is actually a thing and if she’s right to do this or not but even if it is, her rude attitude and her talking over me and hanging up the phone was totally uncalled for. At my job, if I talked to a customer like that I would be fired on the spot but from other reviews I can see that this is quite the norm for these people.The clinic owner/doctor needs to pay attention to these reviews and reconsider because it’s very bad for business!**Update: I talked to Dr. Azimzadeh the day after and mentioned that the receptionist had hung up the phone on me. Dr. Azimzadeh said “no no never, they don’t do that you must be confused”. I now understand that the doctor herself has no people skills and no customer service skills! Shocking!

I've never seen a doctor so reckless like this . every behavior shows her unprofessional. She didn't care about her patients just wanted to get rid of them. Besides, she is very rude. When she can't understand what patient say, she will act funny and imitate their actions or yet at them. I wish I'd never come back to this clinic again. Hope the clinic closes soon, or at least finds another doctor.

Dr. Azim is a knowledgeable and great doctor. She listened to all my concerns carefully and provided adequate guidance, and referred me to local resources. I highly recommend her as a family physician. The staff are also very friendly and are not afraid to go above and beyond their responsibilities to provide patients with the care they need and deserve.

No wonder there is sooo many negative reviews here... The female so called Dr ar this clinic ( I'm not even sure if I can call her Dr !), Shahnaz Azimzadeh, is The MOST unprofessional, ill mannered and unhelpful Dr I've ever seen in Toronto... she has ZERO interest in the patients and seems to have no knowledge or experience or care in her profession...The clinic is rather dirty and unhygienic, not to mentione extremely unorganized.!Was the 15 earlier for my appt only to be visited 30 minutes later than my actual appt time..! .... the female so called Dr was rude, detached, and unwilling to do anything at all! Even a simple basic/routine check up on my throat and chest, as if she was scared of getting close to me ...Useless ppl like this should sit at home and be banned from practicing in medical field altogether , as they waist our tax money ... what a shame ...

I have been going here for a number of years. When it was a walk in clinic, was attended to by a number of doctors. Dr. Mandel, Dr. Azimzadeh, Dr. Romanescui ( please forgive spelling mistakes). All were very professional and helpful. Dr. Azimzadeh has taken over as a family doctor and I am very pleased at the way she conducts her profession. Takes time to listen and suggests specialist if needed. The attached Pharmacy and Pharmacist are also very friendly, courteous and professional. The receptionist are also very thorough and diligent in their duties. I was looking for a family doctor and I think I have found a good one in Dr. Azimzadeh. My humble thanks to her.

Dr. Shahnaz Azimzadeh is the worst doctor I have ever seen!! Lacking basic human decency. No manners. No professionalism. No compassion, no understanding. Just a robot. And doesn't advise on your health issue just says what do you want me to do about it. Omg!! So bad. It felt like someone is holding a gun to her head and telling her to work. If you are so unhappy, then do something else please.

I have finally had enough of this clinic.It has been one bad experience after another and I can no longer tolerate all of the nonsense that comes with dealing with this clinic. Today's experience was the last straw and I am moving to a new doctor.
