Ajax Rock Oasis

Sent my two daughters to day camp here, and they had a blast. They ended up going for more days. It's a relatively smaller climbing gym inside a community centre. But they have lots of runs for different difficulty levels. Will bring them back for camp or even do weekly sessions here when I'm back in the Ajax area.

Great gem in the heart of the city. It's located within the Ajax community centre. Fantastic for kids and had a climbing wall for young kids (cave/cavern style). Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Equipment rental is also available on site.

I took the intro lesson and the staff were very helpful and informed. After the lesson was done they periodically checked back up on us to make sure that we were still good and to answer any questions that popped up. The location was very clean and had a variety of different level walls to climb from very easy to I don't know how a person can do that.

One of the best experiences I’ve had rock climbing. Andy (the owner) is so thorough with teaching and making sure that beginners feel confident while climbing. It was $35 plus tax per person, that includes climbing for the day, rentals, and the lesson. The walls are both fun and very challenging. Great for beginners, and those with the experience. My son did a program here that ran for 8 sessions. He really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend. Clean and great staff. Great for beginners.

Amazing experience! Will definitely be coming back. Carter was so helpful, gave good direction, and made my sister and I feel comfortable as new climbers! Highly recommend!

Not much people on a Saturday afternoon.quite small. Good for beginners. Two people cost about $60 that include shoes rental and equipment

While the place is small, the staff more than make up for it. They are incredibly helpful and friendly. Checking in is always a breeze. While they might not be at the desk, they were readily available in the gym. They make a good use of space and we have never felt crowded when we went. There is a good variety of routes for all ages and abilities. My son had his birthday party there and it was fun, easy and fantastic. We had a party room for part of it in the community center where we had cake and presents, then we went to the climbing gym. All the kids had a great time and no one felt rushed out the door. The ratios were perfect and the staff were very patient with the ones that hadn't climbed before and were hesitant. There was plenty of room for the adults to watch. The instructional course for belaying was easy to learn and quick. We were on the wall in no time. Its great that they have self belays now. It is definitely a great place for family fun. The bouldering areas are challenging and the kids really liked hanging out in them while waiting for their turn on the ropes. I highly recommend this place for anyone, even young children.

Kids love it here. Owner Andy is a very nice guy, always pleasant and accommodating. Kids classes, group stuff, pay as you go. Adults too. Always creating new courses. Certainly an interesting and unique sport for the kids to get into.

Awesome fun if you have few hours free in Ajax. Affordable great staff and great for beginners as well as the more experience. I recommend you fill the waiver out online before hand to save time but its not necessary. Also they have great weekly program for Kids. Something cool we can call Ajax secret rock climbing Gem!
