Good Spirit Lake Provincial Park

Decent size sites. Nice beach and trail. Both beach and campsites have play areas for kids. Standard washrooms. Annoying that you are charged for a day pass along with the camping site fee.

Much nicer park now than 30 years ago. Loved my 4 nights here!

Great little campground, only complaint is the# of thistle plants right in the site, with sandals on you have to be careful

Very well maintained park with paved roads throughout, sand beach, flush toilets, warm showers, and an excellent laundry facility.

Very friendly and present staff at kiosk. Golf course, just outside of the park, should have proper highway signs, but the course was good-the back 9 being more challenging. The park has a store downtown ...and a market store just South of the park for those small grocery items. The electrified sites, mostly have lots of room and majority of them are level, with the firepit in a perfect location. Lots of water taps throughout the campgrounds. Brand new service centre with laundry was so nice with nice pressure and temperature in showers, super clean always, and friendly cleaning staff. The old service centre is a bit dated, but still kept clean! New pavement throughout campgrounds, except non electric. Non electric sites, at Sandy Ridge, would be better changed over to electric or full service, as no one was in them. Besides, they have 10 non electric sites just West of the new service centre that are not marked, that are very private and nice, with, what looks like the option of adding 4-5 more. The beach is fabulous, so clean, and dragged daily...Thank you! Trails...well, the Main Trail is barricaded and closed, even though it shows it on the map. The other trail from the beach to the Lookout is a lovely one, but only is bike friendly part of the way, then it is super soft sand walk, with no signage, until you stumble across a steel expanded mesh ramp on the beach that meanders up the sand dunes to the top. The steel mesh has parts that are covered with sand and overgrown by trees. Definitely, not bike friendly. The view at top, was nice, but one could see it had been nicer years before. There are trails you can walk or bike within the campgrounds that take you downtown or along the shores in heavily treed natural landscapes. Very quiet. Woodpile is easily accessible with lots of wood.

This is our go to family destination. We come back every year. The beach is fabulous. The lake is warm and shallow which makes is great for little ones!... and the sand is something you wouldn't expect in Saskatchewan. The dunes are amazing and this is by far our favorite lake to camp for the summer. Everything from the local farmers market on Saturdays to the mini golf to the honey farm down the road..this place is where you wanna be!

Provincial park is awesome! Great sites, easy walk to the beach and camp store. Sandy beach and you can walk a long way into the lake on the sandy bottom with no weeds.

A really nice provisional park. I enjoyed the hike to the dunes and back.They maintain the beach really well.Staff are friendly and accommodating.Easy to find parking.Pay at the gate on entry.
