When indicating a comparable vehicle may be substituted, import vehicles shouldn't be considered comparable to domestic vehicles. I requested an American make vehicle, and changed rental providers based on the American made vehicle. Big disappointment!

I had reserved a premium car for my wife, the baby and I but we were given a Hyundai kona. One piece of luggage and the trunk was full, so most luggage did not even fit including the stroller. Then, with the baby seat installed, I was unable to get into the driver's seat. So I went back to see the clerk to explain our situation and he ended up giving me Jetta which was also a downgraded vehicle for our family vacation. Not impressed at all.
