Bancroft Village Playhouse
Small and intimate theatre. Not a bad seat in the house. Seats were comfortable. Saw Momma Mia and the cast and crew did a fantastic job. All the employees at the playhouse were all very kind and pleasant. The show was great and super fun. Cast came out to say hello to us at the end of the show. Had a blast

Bancroft Village Playhouse
Absolutely love this historic building that was once the local jail I believe around 100 years ago when the building was first built. You can see remnants of some the bars above the kitchen doorway that pay homage to the buildings history. Now it’s a much beloved theatre & it’s back & better than ever thanks to Tweed & Company!! Oh & there is a giant parking lot down the hill from the lights across from TD bank. You can also find parking behind the Brew Pub & Century 21, as well as street parking. Check it out, you’ll fall in love too!❤️❤️❤️

The venue is good the performers, directors and all of the cast were absolutely amazing. The only complaint I have is the non-availability of parking and some older guy blocking the driveway to allow handicap people to drive in and park in behind the building. Otherwise it was just a superb performance

OMG what a difference. The cheap wino and low class feeling of the last few years is gone. And a really amazing theatre experience has finally been established. Whoever took it over post covid. Did the town a great service. WOW

Amazing show (Beatles tribute) as part of their Fall lineup. Tickets and beer (local brewery) are a great price. Not a bad seat in the house.

First time experiencing the band in a theater and felt amazing. Their sound system was rocking. Listening to the world known band in a houseful theater is another level of experience.

This summer I enjoyed Tweed & Company Theatre’s production of Mamma Mia! At the Playhouse- 3 times - it was that good! It’s a great historical venue, with lots of recent improvements. Looking forward to what will come under this new management. Lots of variety for everyone!
