August 9, 2020A Review: Accurate Lawn and Garden EquipmentBy Hassan HawashAccurate Lawn and Garden EquipmentOn a strong recommendation from my brother, I just had to make my way over to Accurate Lawn and Garden Equipment. He is a big supporter of local businesses.On two occasions, I have been over to this local business at 344 Pembina Highway young Trevor from the Neufeld family operation helped me out. He had no problem locating the exact spool of string that I needed for my Black & Decker trimmer. The former Glenlawn Collegiate student even took the time to put the string around the pool so that when I went back home it was ready to use. He also pointed out how the string adjusts itself according to the length the machine will allow. On that same day, I had an urgent need to get a sparkplug for the lawnmower and sure enough, Trevor was once again ready to help. I was about five minutes past closing time, but I was still allowed in. They were certainly indicating that they were closing, but it appears 5 o’clock closing does not necessarily mean 5 on the dot.With that said, there was also attention paid to our current health climate with particular regard to covid19. They made us customers aware of social distancing only allowing 7 customers in at a time and with the now ever familiar 6 feet apart markers.

JohnI am on my second Ariens snow blower, I think I bought this current one (Deluxe 24) from you around 2014. I live in Grande Pointe on two acres. I have blown more snow this year than I have in the past 8. The Ariens line of snow blowers you sell are the best by far. It never misses a beat. I had a cracked fuel line at the primer bulb, (last week) easy repair. As much as the amount of snow we have had in the area the Ariens makes it fun and easy. Attached are pictures of what I have been dealing with. Have too use my Kubota to knock done the taller drifts so they can be manage by the Ariens.  When the time comes to replace this model I will be contacting you. Thanks again for the great purchases. I hope the season has not been to hard on your staff and you are all able to stay healthy.

There is always a reason why a small business is able to survive decade after decade in the private sector. Yes, I know we are much too late to start looking for a snowblower in October, but Accurate had many great options for my mom to choose from! Daniel was so friendly and knowledgeable, going above and beyond to explain in detail all the differences in the models so she could make an informed decision. Aside from the extraordinary service, we chose Accurate because they are also able to provide service should anything go wrong or break. Please consider supporting this local, family owned business. Daniel has been great to deal with. If you’re thinking about buying from a big box store, don’t. The team at Accurate Lawn and Garden Equipment have been so awesome to deal with that I will only be going to them from now on.

Staff walked past customers like they didn't exist, unfriendly when asked questions about shop rates, or types of service, front desk staff appeared to be on a personal phone call with their back turned towards a line of potential customers. Sometimes shops are busy, but you should always have time to be polite and respectful.
