Costco

Wanted to use up the Costco $120 Voucher from “new member sign-up promo” but was told it can only be used for Costco online shopping. Thus no choice here but to buy something online & we opted for a new TV. The “estimated delivery” was May 16, 2023 but it was delivered on May 26, 2023 instead by UPS. Upon delivery, we noticed a “dent at the bottom right corner” of the box & the UPS guy noted it too. We didn’t reject the delivery, assuming “it should be OK, since the dent was at the bottom corner & not in the middle of the box”. After installing the new TV & turned it on, we discovered a “big surprise”. The screen was cracked at the bottom right corner. Overall the delivery of Costco online shopping really sucks BiG TIME; 1st failed to ship within the estimated timeline & 2nd failed to do basic quality check of goods before delivery. No more Costco online shopping for us as the overall experience was not only very frustrating but also very annoying & disappointing. It’s our 1st & also our very last Costco online shopping, period.

Great new bigger building with bigger aisles and self serve cashiers. Still worth while to shop in bulk. Lots of parking and new shopping carts. Now both locations with gas stations.

One of my favorite locations. Very busy and good turnover of product. Nothing stale in the store. Parking can be a challenge but then every Costco is a challenge to find parking close to the door. No gas pumps here though... Princess Auto across the street makes up for that and a gas station a few feet from the store on the corner. Go early to avoid crowds.

As always, lots of great prices and quality foods. I love the free tasting samples. Most recently, I bought hot dogs based on the taste test.

Very bad experience with Costco staff. At first they were really ignorant and was just talking with each other and ignored us while we were standing in front of them. When I get membership they said I will get $100 voucher but I didn’t get it after 2 months. And when I asked them I never received any email about voucher yet. They said they didn’t have that offer and can’t give it to me. They were really rude and said you can terminate your membership. And threatened us that you can’t renew for 18 months and can’t come in to the costco and you have to purchase things from somewhere else!! Well, I didn’t need her explanation about termination of card rather give me explanation why your staff is conning people in the name of $100 vouchers, which you guys are not even giving.When we terminated our membership she said “exit is that way!”. Basically said get out to us it this how you treat your customers.Very disappointing service!!They even don’t deserve this one star.It should be just 0 star.

Staff is amazing! Always really friendly and ready to help. The grounds are kept clean, and remains very pandemic friendly, including disinfecting carts as they're returned, and ensuing enforcement of mask policy. I feel safe shopping here, and the deals are often available!

Went to optical department.Had eyes tested and purchased regular glasses and sunglasses.Lenses are fantastic. My quality of vision is great and I have a very difficult prescription for glasses.Both pairs I purchased through Costco work incredibly well.Entire optometry team was very professional, helpful and friendly.Also the cost was considerably lower than previous glasses purchased at other optometry offices.I highly recommend Costco for eyeglasses .

This Costco in Kingston has more variety at the food court. Didn't know it has french fries. Yummy. Noticed also chicken fingers which I didn't try. Polish sausage was good and my friend had pizza which seemed like it had a lot of cheese than I'm used to seeing

They do have large number of items available in store. The cost is not much different than other large stores except that you buy in Bulk due to which it seems a bit cheaper.The only benefit is if you are buying certain items which has Costco pricing which is usually a bit cheaper then outside and also have further discounts.Costco fruits are of good quality and better than many superstores.Overall a good experience visiting this place.
