Love this shop - one of downtown Alliston's gems! I always spend longer than anticipated browsing the carefully selected artisan items. A great place if you're looking for a unique gift! Lots of high quality, Canadian-made treasures in a welcoming and cozy environment. Highly recommend checking it out!

Quickly becoming my favourite place ever! It honestly feels likeSelf care every time I walk through those doors. Gives me old Stanton store vibes. The owners are darling. Best candles ever. I never leave without purchasing one. This is where I buy all my gifts. They have so many neat and thoughtful items. If you have not visited yet you don’t know what your missing. This is a must for me at least once a week! It also feels so good to support LOCAL!!!

I love dropping into this store. There are so many Canadian made/local items to choose from. Many of the items are handmade and I have never seen there anywhere else. I also LOVE the workshops. I like that you can pay for the class and everything is included right from the piece that you are working on, to the many colour choices and even a little light refreshment while you are there. The instructor shows you how to use the product and various techniques to obtain the look you are wanting to achieve.

Concession Road Mercantile is an amazing and trendy little shop located within Alliston. It is the perfect place to buy a beautiful gift for a anyone you know! The employees are all very knowledgable and friendly and can assist you with whatever it is you are looking for! They make it very easy to shop local. <3

Concession Road Mercantile
This store is such a great new addition to Alliston's main strip. Carol (the owner) is super friendly and has designed a store that is rustic and charming - without feeling kitschy - while still retaining an interior that is fresh and bright. Her merchandise is mainly giftware but includes a lot of Canadian-made clothing, jewellery, homeware and stationery items which is really nice but lacking in many of the other stores around town. She also has a great selection of milk and chalk paint and offers monthly workshops on how to use them as well as workshops for calligraphy and all sorts of other fun, crafty stuff which I highly recommend checking out. I love this store; I can't say enough good things about it.

If you're looking for a local shop that truly lives up to the meaning of the term, with plenty of Alliston related merchandise as well as rustic and handcrafted items that are sure to catch the eye and potentially the heart, then this is the place for you. With a friendly atmosphere and plenty of Canadian goods, Concession Road Mercantile is easily one of my favorite gift shops around and if you stop in it just might be yours too!
