Trevor Salloum - Kelowna Drum Lessons, Kelowna Jazz Band, Kelowna Salsa Band | Trevor Salloum is a percussionist, author and teacher who has conducted workshops and performed internationally for over 25 years. Salloum studied music at York University (Toronto), Escuela Nacional de Arte (Cuba) and the Banff Centre. He has studied with some of the great drum masters, including Jim Blackley (Jazz), Armando Peraza, Alex Acuña, Changuito, Enrique Pla, Roberto Vizcaiño, Cutumba, Los Muñequitos de Matanzas (Afro-Cuban) and Mohammed Sadek and Michel Merhej Baklouk (Middle Eastern). His studies of percussion have taken him throughout North America, Brazil, Cuba and the Middle East.
