Charged me $115 for the most basic information anyone with a Vanagon knows. Telling me your vanagon drives and is working. Thus it's better 50% of vanagons" doesn't solve my idle issue. this guy is a dry dipstick. And has low standards for vehicles. You spew out less useful information then a beginner amateur mechanic and my YouTube suggestions combined. Lame."

Called about a dozen shops about a ignition coil misfiring. All said at least a week fix because peak of winter tire season (October). Central Automotive had it diagnosed and fixed the next day no questions asked.

Great place to take your car, good communication and decent rates. Seem to be very flexible too which is nice. Normal hours for a shop which can be difficult to plan. Would recommend.

Been going to see Gary and Dave for a number of years now. Always do great work at a very reasonable price. And most of all very trustworthy and will only suggest maintenance and repairs that are actually needed. Very reliable and easy to deal with.

I’ve taken my car to get it safety certified, I left the car with Gary, he called me after 2 hours asked for an amount more than what’s in my head, I asked for the details because it was the first time dealing with him, he gave me the details and the prices for the parts and labor was wonderful, the airbag light was on, he asked me to repair it at Hyundai because there’s a recall on it, this guy was so honest and did amazing job on my 2012 Sonata.The price isn’t cheap, but affordable if you’re looking for a professional knows what’s he’s doing.

Been fair and and honest with me since buying a used car for my son last summer. I live more than four hours away so it's nice to know there's someone I can count on while my son is at university in Waterloo. Six weeks after buying it, there was front-end part my own mechanic noted was borderline and Gary replaced it with no labour charge, no hassle. I like dealing with family owned businesses.
