Worst nursing home I've ever seen. Smells terrible and half the staff are miserable. My grandfather lived there for almost 2 years and it was just a progressively disappointing place.

My father was a resident there. We had no complaints. The esthetics are old and could use and lift but in general the staff was friendly and they dis their best.

Our Mom Eleonore was a resident at York Extendicare for one month before her death. We witnessed the care that she received from the staff on a daily basis. Our family gives a gives a big gold star to the nurses, PSWs, and all the support staff; their job is difficult and we saw compassion and dedication. Thank you to everyone who helped our Mother in her final days.

Worse place ever. You never hear from the doctors or staff for updates. They freeze rent without notifying people, and then all of a sudden unfreeze it, and take out the balances without notifying family members. You go visit, and if it's your lucky day the elevators will be working.
