Recently renovated, the store has gone for a rustic feel and it works! A nice alternative to the local Irving, with more products and often better prices. No gas station, but it's not going for that. Besides, general chips and pop, the store also has cigarettes, liquor, and hardware offerings as well as groceries.

This business has been around for almost 200 years, it started with Patrick McCloskey, an Irish immigrant who sold goods from a trunk on his wagon, he eventually opened a store in the location where the store today is, that original store burned in the late 1940s and was rebuilt.. the store sells a bit of everything... they even have a Leger book from the original store with transactions of the day, and when I worked there as a meat cutter, I even found where my great great grandfather traded a load of logs for goods and to pay off the bill he ran up over the winter months... so so much history on that property!!!

Had been a few months since I had last been in and I seen a lot of changes. New renovations to the inside is very nice, lots of inventory at reasonable prices, and as always friendly and courteous staff.

I live in Boiestown and this place is essential. Not only do they have a good selection for grocery and miscellaneous items, the pizza is great.

Great small town general store with a good selection of groceries, hardware items and automotive supplies for an emergency. Also has a take out Pizzaria with great pizzas.
