Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB)

This school board has caused a lot of harm. They will do and say ANYTHING to get you to be quiet when bringing forward abuse of students. Abuse from staff and other students. Especially if the child is special needs. They lie to protect themselves instead of the children. I'm so sorry to have to write this, but it has been an actual nightmare for years. We have no voice.

Great school. Our talents and backgrounds are listened to and cared for. They also offer great opportunities.

Extremely difficult to understand why schools were closed today.I am a 67 year old grandmother that looks after my 8 year old granddaughter while her mother, who is a nurse, works.No reason they could not have attended school with approximately 2 inches of fresh snow overnight.We were all over the city this morning with no issues.

It seems to me that the school board has their own agenda to ruin young girls lives. Absolutely sickening what they allow in the school system. To keep parents in the dark with respects to our own children. Unacceptable.

The equity board at WRDSB frequently confuses equality with equity and has now made cuts so that teachers of students with IEPs aren't receiving enough materials for them to learn. There has become more divide from our 'Woke' school board. In my opinion this is the worst school board in canada and their equity board constantly violates staff and students opinions.

The other reviews are from kids who would rather play video games than go to school. This is a really good school board.02/25/2022 update: I still stand by the fact that most people here are overly critical of the school board. However now that I'm in highschool, I'm seeing how broken some parts of the school board are, such as how a destreamed mathematics class makes it so incredibly easy. Most of the mathematics I've learned over the past five years have been self-taught for this reason. Please fix your mathematics program WRDSB! But in terms of teachers and schools, schools are generally well-maintained, teachers are good if they don't talk about controversial things (which they almost always don't, which is good), and in classes I'm challenged in, I find them very fun, and I like going to school :)

Most of the teachers are fine ,but some need to find another job

This board of trustees and their political correctness is sickening. It is time for an overhaul of all it's policies and people

Hi, I was just wondering why the teachers are not in school today? (April 11th 2013)I know school was cancelled do to the weather and fully agree students stayed home.Now what I don't understand why the teachers stayed home. Especially since they always complain how overworked they are. I think this would have been a good opportunity for them to catch up on their work.Let's not forget everybody else had to go to wor so we can pay our bills.
