Been my dentist for years and only have had good experiences. All staff are friendly and caring and Dr. Harle is not only an incredible person who dedicates much of his personal time to charity and bettering the Ottawa community, but he’s reliable and veteran dentist. Only high recommendations for this office.

He's polite and attentive but I know what Delma means because I experienced something very similar with him...like so many dentists, the minute he learns that his client has insurance he figures there no harm in proposing treatment beyond what any objective person would consider necessary...it appears this is a consequence to living in a government town. I'll never go back to him, that's for sure!

That's so funny! Insurance was the first thing his secretary asked about! And I had the same thing happen....insurance did not cover much of what he insisted needed to be done...I did it anyway but always suspected there was something dodgy about his practice. On the plus side though, he does take the time to listen and answer questions.

Would suggest finding a more reputable dentist than Dr. Harle if you want an honest appraisal of your needs. It took me a while to learn that he always erred on the side proposing treatment plans that were unnecessary and I wouldn't have known that if I didn't finally get a second opinion. Friendly dentists are great, but I'll take one that considers the needs of his patient over his own enrichment any day.

Be very careful with Dr. Harle's treatment diagnosis if you think" you have insurance. He completed a report for me and proposed extensive treatment knowing the existing damage did not rise to the level where insurance would cover it. Then his secretary encouraged me not send the whole estimate to Insurance for pre - determination because it was above coverage limits per the policy. The result - after treatment was received elsewhere the insurance company determined most of the procedures were not necessary and did not cover the costs."

I've been going here for at least 5 years. Dr. Harle and entire staff are very professional, friendly and thorough.They go above and beyond making their clients feel comfortable with procedures and work being done. I highly recommend Dr.Harle!

This guy is amazing, simply put. Very compassionate, caring and understanding. I am going through a very tough time in my life and found it hard to pay the government set prices. Was about to have tooth pulled but he took me in and fixed my tooth at a price I can afford at an extremely reasonable price. He restored my confidence and made my life less depressing than it was, no joke.Thank you Dr Harle from the top to the bottom of my heart.

Seriously I'm not sure why anyone would question Dr. Harles integrity, He is one of the most honest and generous people you will ever meet. Having social media and online reviews is great but can also be damaging by falsely accusing people's integrity.I've been to many dentists and had to get their work cleaned up and the first and only dentist that I know will thoroughly do the job right is Dr. Harle. If you had no money he would help out so I find it very hard to find his practice has changed after dealing with him over the past 15-20 years.

Be very suspicious- he's a master of flattery and convincing one they have a need that likely does not rise to the level of a need. His business model is based on that.
