Linda Michaels Salon & Spa

Hi, everyone. This is for anyone who is wanting to find a new hair salon and a new hairstylist. Do not go to Linda Michaels Salon. My hairstylist (Taylor) cut my hair too short and choppy. I cannot work with it or do anything with it because of the length and the ends are chopped completely. She was great with my hair all the other times I have been going to her for haircuts until this time. She went extreme and did not take the time to cut it a reasonable length. She showed me in the back how short it would be before she cut it but she still cut it a lot shorter than shoulder length and the ends are choppy looking unless I wet it down and dry it every time. So unfortunately, I will be finding a hairstylist who will take the time with my hair every time and not go extreme with length; also someone who does not charge $39.00 for womens' haircuts. The salon and/or the stylist raised the price of the haircuts recently and now they are $39.00 instead of $37.00 (which was still high from before about a year ago). So if you don't want to pay a fortune for regular haircuts and have a really good hairstylist to cut your hair, then look elsewhere for a salon and hairstylist. I absolutely love this place their deep conditioning treatment is so nice and everyone is so so so nice and helpful and my hair felt and looked amazing afterwards

Taylor has the best personality and always cuts my hair perfectly. I definitely recommend her if you're looking for a high quality experience!

Makelilah was patient and kind. She talked about what she was doing. I also believe I napped which I take as a phenomenal sign!

Went to treat myself for a pedicure and manicure. There’s a reason why I don’t get pedicures: they’re expensive and most of the time I feel like I could’ve done a better job. When I noticed she didn’t do anything other than wash my feet and put some hot towels in it, leaving all the dead skin around my nails untouched I asked her to skip the manicure. I can wash my hands at home.

Kyllie was very professional and made me feel comfortable during my first ever Brazilian. Definitely plan to continue to use her for future services. She explained everything she was going to do and was clear with all instructions.

My facial with Makelilah was fantastic. I'm so happy with how hydrating it was and how smooth my face and neck felt afterward.

Always great. That is why I returned.. Never have had a problem with the people. Julia always does my hair just right. That is why I came back. Other place I went 3 time cut my hair off never said anything when I complained. So I was done with them. I only get my hair trimmed not cut off..

I highly do not recommend (Parker) at Linda Michael’s. I went in for a full foil highlight and toning at 10am. She started doing my foils and I was noticing the placement of the foils was not how I’ve previously have seen other hair stylists do on my hair. She was rushing through the foils and did not let them sit long enough. She had me move back and forth from the sink station at least five times because she wasn’t washing the bleach all the way out of my hair. After that was done, I returned to the chair where she started putting two different toners on my hair (the roots and ends). I was trying to stay positive and not really question her work because I was referred to her that she did very good work, I was wrong. To sum up the rest, she had to go to another hair stylist in the salon at the time and ask her what to do and how to fix my hair that she messed up. The stylist she went to for help and advice also knew that what she was doing to my hair and using on it was not correct. My hair was shampooed 14 times total and still did not turn out. The top of my hair is now 3 different colors due to her foils bleeding on the base of my roots. I sat in the salon from 10am-3:30 pm leaving with my hair looking worse than it did before I went in.

My boyfriend and I first had haircut appointments with Parker on Dec 23, 2021. A few quick snips, she seemed uninvolved with my hair and said I was done. I had asked her to trim off 3 inches, instead she trimmed off a half an inch. I let it go because our booking was one of her last before the holidays. I was wrong to have stayed silent.My last appointment was a Pedicure on January 27, 2022. My boyfriend booked a haircut the same day. We both were paired with Parker. He had his haircut first. When she started on my pedicure she was asking alot of questions about my boyfriend. We typically drive over an hour just to get to Greatfalls so I didn't have the energy to carry on a conversation. I think this upset her because she seemed to really want to know about our lives. So I let her know I'd be back for the Valentines Day deal.When Parker began painting my nails she seemed to have an opinion on everything about my life, my boyfriend and what information she gathered from him during his haircut with her. I found it very embarrassing and offensive! There were other customers around and other Stylist around that could hear personal opinionated details about our lives. I wish I went to a manager sooner but I was very embarrassed!I've always went to Linda Michaels for every service listed, you name it! But after that I have not set foot in that salon since then. I'm not a fan of the bucket you soak your feet in, but I overlooked it because the nail polishes were always so beautiful! I'm posting this for customers to beware of Stylists that get to pushy. I never been the type of person to say it's none of your damn business!" But I'd hope next time when I'm tired and looking for some relaxation to say "shh
