I would not recommend anyone do tailoring or alterations here. The staff are nice, but I took a saree blouse here to make a blouse, it was altered and when I tried it on in the store, they said it was fitting properly. But when I wore the blouse for a function a few weeks later it was way too loose (as I was told by my Indian friends- I am not Indian). When I called them and asked them to refit it for me they said they could do that but they would have to charge me the alteration fee again. They didn’t do a good job the first time so I will not be coming here anymore for alterations.

I am so glad I came across Nima and her business recently. I got my saree blouses stitched here and they were beyond perfect!! I am an ardent saree lover and always had trouble finding a tailor in GTA.Nima is very reliable and great at what she does. She suggested me designs to choose for the blouse and created them to absolute perfection. She is open to suggestions and explores the clients preferences. I was running short on time for the events deadline and Nima accommodated my request and provided fast tailoring service. I am very happy and would definitely recommend A & A tailoring for anyone looking for stitching/ alternations/designing and all kinds of tailoring needs.

I have a terrible experience with the Lady name Nima, very rude, unprofessional, no manners in talking. She don't know how to do deal with customer. A default item to return within 16 hours, she give lot of excuses and i have to go back and forth unnecessary to that shop. She said that money is nothing, if that us the case why she hesitant to give my money back.Very horrible experience, never recommend to go to this place

Called to confirm that the tailor was available to stitch a saree blouse three times before heading into the store. All three times, I explained what I needed the blouse for, when I would need the blouse for, and confirmed the date and time the tailor would be in store and available to take my material, specifications for blouse design, and take my measurements. I even called in the day OF before heading in store to confirm, and the tailor advised me to come in at 5:30. I arrived on time and the tailor (the same one I spoke to on the phone thrice) acted as though I was crazy and that she did not ask me to come in. After I recounted the convo I had with her, she reluctantly asked to see what I wanted for the blouse. She then told me that the blouse design was not to her taste, told me it would take too long to sew on three pre-made tassels, and requested for me to bring her a different material for the blouse, even though I had brought in the standard blouse material. The tailor also informed me that she did not know how to take measurements on my body and would need me to bring in a perfectly fitted blouse if I wanted to get the blouse made. Why a TAILOR would not know how to take measurements is beyond me... The tailor promised a blouse and did not deliver which caused me to have to scramble last minute to find a new tailor to do the job. Overall the poor attitude, rude customer service, and false promises are enough to keep me far away from this business. When charging an arm and a leg for a custom made product, the business should be able to deliver. SO disappointed in the service here.

I have been getting my saree blouse and lenghas stitched here for several years. Nima never disappoints and is always able to bring my clothing designs to life. I highly recommend this place!

Her work is so clean!!! Don’t trust the negative reviews. Plan ahead and call to ask when she can have the blouse ready. I got mine within 10 days and my aunt got hers in 3 weeks last summer (peak wedding season). She also designed the blouse how I liked it. High recommend!!!

Great place! I needed an alteration last minute and they were able to fit me in and return the dress in a matter of hours! Measurements were taken right the first time so during pickup was fast.

Terrible customer service. I waited for 2 hours for the tailor. When she (Nima) came she was very rude and mean. The owner Wasi (I think that was his name) was extra rude. After price negotiation when I was hesitant he closed his note book roughly and made me feel very uncomfortable. I never been so badly treated in Canada.

I had unstitched saree blouse fabric and I was looking for a good tailor. I found A & A Fashion and Tailoring on the website. My first impression of Nima, the owner, was that she was kind, friendly and very helpful. Besides stitching my saree blouse, I also needed alterations for a readymade saree blouse that I got at the store. Nima was able to get both blouses ready for the date I wanted. When I tried both the blouses I was extremely impressed with her workmanship! They both fit me perfectly! I will definitely go back to this store for my future tailoring and I recommend A & A tailoring for anyone looking for stitching/alterations or other tailoring needs.
