I called them looking for a specific product and they told me they would not give me pricing without coming into their showroom. Seriously; I have worked in the Constuction industry for a very long time and that is a first for me... if I call a place and i ask how much is a 2x4x8 as an example I have never been told that I need to come in. To me that is just a way for them to suck unknowing consumers into a sales tactic that is a generation old. Sorry but these are new times and prices are available at the click of a button. Get with the times Deck Store.

Robin was such a pleasure to deal with. She was super polite and patient with me. I gave her my design and she put together a material list to make my life easier, and on top of that she gave me a great price.

In 2019, we competitively retained THE DECK STORE (Oakville) as our supplier for a 600 sq. foot deck to be built with a PVC decking and a lighted glass perimeter railing. We found their pricing, accuracy of delivery and in-store advice to be erroneous and frequently unreliable; to the point that we had to halt doing further business with THE DECK STORE (Oakville) prior to the completion of our project. We recommend that you carefully check EVERY aspect twice. Our expectations of THE DECK STORE (Oakville) included: accurate delivery quantities, correct repeatable pricing, reliable “ as reported” delivery dates, all parts and screws included within “Open Box” supplies, new product supplies only , dependable product knowledge for deck lighting, and prompt quotations for additional materials.
