A lovely hidden gem on Portage in downtown. Very tasty Vietnamese coffee, tea and a delicious selection of sandwichs and snacks. Mouth watering bubble tea and a very warm, comfortable atmosphere to share a coffee and conversation. A must see!

Got the Banh Mi special after we unknowingly walked in the different direction of Banh Mi King and picked up bubble tea at the same time.If you want to try a milk tea but not sure what flavours, my SAFE go-to are Black Milk Tea, this is the original classic any boba tea shop must have. Earl Grey for something familiar, Mango for tropical. If you like sweet try the Honey Dew milk tea. Toppings are totally optional, they are not for everyone. For a sugary drink, it helps you pace yourself to drink through it (otherwise you would be chugging it). My sister and I got taro and honey dew milk teas, super refreshing. The Banh Mi is traditional vietnamese subs typically made on these french buns and sorted with pate, pork, pickled radish/carrot, mayo and cucumber but every place have their variations. This one was super delicious! Took one to go before heading out to Regina.

I was happy when a place to get banh mi was near my work, and their banh mi was good. However every time I go there recently its closed, so not sure what is going on?

First they can’t even make an iced coffee, so I order macchiato, then the espresso machine isn’t working so I ask for refund and the damn debit machine doesn’t work also!!! I ask for my money back in cash and they won’t even do that. Very disappointing & frustrating. So now this business owes me a refund for medium salted caramel macchiato with extra syrup. Either fix me drink and offer me a second drink complimentary, or issue me my refund with something complimentary for all the trouble.

I could taste the green tea powder from my matcha latte even it is made the sweetest (which I truly like the most!).The ambiance is very relaxing & inviting. The cafe is strategically located in downtown & bus stop is in front of the cafe.ADDENDUM: The vietnamese coffee I have in this cold, windy afternoon balances the condensed milk's sweetness and the coffee's bitterness. I like the fancy cup as well! The tartiness of the pickled vegatables balances out the umami of the corned meat in the Vietnamese sub. Combines very well with a cup of regular coffee sweetened with tiny bit of condensed milk.MY CO-WORKER'S FEEDBACK: The 10 - inch Vietnamese sub is the longest at the cheapest price of 7.50 CAD.
