Thank you so much Brent for an amazing cake!My husband and I got married April 8th, after having to move up our wedding from August. He was accommodating and very helpful.The cake came out beautifully and tasted great! Would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable and beautiful cake.

A truly gorgeous wedding cake that tasted so delicious! We ordered our wedding cake from Mitchel's and they did not disappoint! The cake was a show stopper at our rustic reception. They made sure to add the flowers and cake topper perfectly and we were blown away when we saw it! Thank you to Mitchel's Cakes for making us a truly beautiful and delicious cake and cupcakes for our special day. Many of our guests commented it was one of the best cakes they have ever had!

First of all I would like to mention that the positives, the process of ordering cake and its delivery were seamless (especially during the difficult times like corona). It was for a birthday and I was suggested to go with chocolate hazelnut cake by the person handling the order and I liked the idea too. I paid 70$ for it. But then the final product was not at all what I expected. The cake was VERY DRY and no one wanted to grab a second bite. Very disappointed :( :(

Decided to go with Mitchel's Cakes for my baby shower and I was not disappointed! They were able to replicate the picture that I had shown them with every detail in tact. It was a beautiful and tasty cake that we enjoyed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality cake!

I ordered a cake for my wife's 60th birthday it was a two-tier cake red velvet with a cream frosting. I told him the amount of guess that would be at the party and they made the perfect size cake it fed everybody The decorations were amazing I told him my wife likes bling. And I let them go with it and a cake turned out amazing. Thank you very much and we'll use you in the future for other events.

We ordered a two-tier jungle themed chocolate cake. The cake looked amazing, the decorations were so impressive. Unfortunately it collapsed in on itself before we made it to the party. We were very careful with it on the drive. I could have forgiven that if it at least tasted good but the cake was so dry and barely tasted of chocolate. I expected a lot better after paying $230.I did send an e-mail with feedback. They responded explaining how they secure the tiers and said it wouldn't collapse without force. They did not respond to my subsequent email.

I do not recommend this place at all. I ordered their Paw Patrol cake for my son's third birthday. First of all, you cannot try any of the flavours that they offer which means that you do not really know what you are getting until the day of.On their site their cake is listed for $120 for 20 people. I needed it for 50 people so they charged me $205. Which would be fine if the cake on their site and the cake that gave me wasn't exactly the same size. (As a note I added the characters and themed candles.)I ordered the top layer lemon and the bottom (larger layer) chocolate. I even went back and forth with the business that I was concerned about the chocolate flavour since chocolate flavours for cakes can vary from bakery to bakery. They never offered a taste test and to cap it off on the day itself forgot" the chocolate icing entirely. Instead they filled the bottom with buttercream icing. Needless to say no one wanted to eat it including the birthday boy. I ended up throwing away that entire bottom layer.When I contacted the company they said they just missed the directions and offered me $20. I told them to keep it because $20 wasn't really going to cover the disappointment my son felt. I ended up sending my husband to Metro to buy him a chocolate cake to make it up to him."

I ordered my wedding cake from Mitchel’s. My husbands favourite cake flavour is red velvet and when I reached out to a few wedding groups on facebook Mitchel’s was a name that kept popping up. We knew as soon as we tasted it that Mitchel’s was our baker! Not only was the cake delicious but beautiful. I knew I didn't want fondant icing so Brent at Mitchel’s suggested a cascade of real flowers and a fully cream cheese/butter creamed cake and I have no regrets. The cake tasted amazing and looked beautiful!

Ordered a Chanel Cake design for my wife birthday, the cake was carefully put together and it looks amazing and it tasted great as well. All of our kids loved it and more importantly the wife was very happy with the cake. It was a bit of a drive to pick it up but it was all well worth it, I highly recommend this place for any special cake design!!

Mitchel's Cake and Dessert Company was the perfect choice for our recent wedding. Upon first meeting, we were welcomed in and provided a variety of cupcake samples to taste the flavours, all were delicious. He had a nice display of different designs and really listened to us regarding our decor and what we were looking for in a cake. He helped us choose different flavours to provide variety but all would pair well together.The day of, when I walked in the room and saw our cake, I was blown away with how beautiful it was, and even better it tasted incredible. We have received so many compliments on our cake, I can't wait to eat our top tier on our anniversary. Mitchel's Cakes also provided easy instructions for proper freezing, he was always responsive and his price point was reasonable. I highly recommend Mitchel's Cake and Dessert Company if you want a beautiful and delicious cake.
