Albert's Tailor Alterations
My experience with Albert's Tailor was extremely disappointing. I took My Burberry trench coat to him for modification, and received back a garment with crooked stitching, seams sloppily sown and loose threads everywhere that I spent a while picking off. For a professional tailor, the quality of his work is unacceptable.Read through the other comments here for more clients with similar complaints of shoddy workmanship and poor quality control.Just take a look at the pictures.

Albert's Tailor Alterations
I've been going to see Albert for alterations for the last two decades, not once has he returned items done incorrectly. there might be loose threads here and there but nothing a lint roller won't fix. Consistent work, fair pricing. I usually go at the end of the day as he is always there at this time. I just don't trust anyone else after having had several bad experiences when i get clothing altered elsewhere.

Albert is a Vancouver staple. He has been altering my clothes for 14 years and he is always so sweet, courteous, and no one can beat his prices, and efficiency.I tried to go to busy bee one day to save myself a trip downtown and they wanted to charge me 3x the price of what Albert ended up charging me.Don’t be fooled by dry cleaner + alteration places. Go to a specialist like Albert!

Really good alteration, and really quick turnover too. Had to get hemming fixed and it feels as good as new now. I also got some pants shortened, and it was very professionally done. The price is also very reasonable. Would definitely go again if I needed to.

Albert's Tailor Alterations
I've had three different alterations done with Albert now – all traditional menswear stuff. He tapered a pair of wool trousers, shortened the sleeves on a couple of sport jackets, and took in several dress shirts for me.Each time, Albert did an excellent job. The garments fit great, and the stitching is durable. Moreover, his prices are generally cheaper than anywhere else I've seen in the city.Albert's shop is very small and unassuming – but it's clear to me that Albert knows what he's doing, and takes care in his work. I'm going to keep coming back.

I wear suits to weddings and special events, that's it. Albert's tailored the 3 different suits I've ever worn, and he's always done a good job. That is, they fit better after he's done some work on them. Also patched a hole in my jeans. In my experience, he charges fair prices with a quick turnaround, can't complain!

Albert's Tailor Alterations
Located on the 2nd floor. You have to buzz #0227 to get in and use the elevator within a minute or so. I got 3 jeans hemmed here. Two raw selvedge denim and one regular.He did a pretty good job, the hem line could have been a bit straighter. Probably due to how rigid the denim was (~ 15oz). He doesn't do chain stitching but it looks practically the same on the outside. He was able to use two different colors, orange on the outside and red in the inside like the original stitching.The jeans didn't have any distressing on the hem so can't speak on that. It was $10 a jean, cash or e-transfer, and only took a day to get them back.

Albert is amazing. I brought in my suit jacket to shorten the sleeves and he was able to turn it around in 3 days. He also helped taper my pants which were really baggy. Prices were extremely cheap.
