Hôpital vétérinaire Anima-Plus Laurier

Everyone is always super nice and Dr Bayard takes great care of my (extremely old!) cat. He always follows up with one or several calls after the visits to know how my cat is doing. He also always warn me beforehand of the cost of every procedure or medication and gives me options in case they are too expensive. All in all, a truly great clinic that I totally recommend :)

I’m not a Vet expert in Montreal but I’m an animal lover and I deeply care about my 2 cats, so when it comes to putting their health in vet’s hands, he better be great with them.And that’s why I’ll keep going there even though I moved far from the place: I love their Vets, they’re very clear, take some time even though they’re very busy (don’t expect to see them for 2 hours but they’re still available enough to me), they don’t try to oversell products. Over employees will try to sell more stuff eventually but my vet doesn’t at all. If I explain clearly where/how the cats live, he will adapt his advices.Prices are okay.

When my cat got sick the last thing I wanted to do was to bring him to the vet due to high costs and the possibility that they take advantage of my ignorance. However my web-researched solutions were not doing any good to my cat so I brought him over. It did end up costing me quite a bit more than I paid to adopt the cat in the first place. However, my cat is now fine. Special mentions of appreciation to the doctor there who followed up on my cat regularly after the treatment. I understood that they weren't trying to take advantage of my ignorance and cared for my cat!Thank you!

First of, I have never been to this veterinarian.I had got an appointment for my lizard (I told them my lizard wasn’t eating much so I was worried). I couldn’t get a quick appointment anywhere, but this place offered me an appointment in a couple of days only. I was very happy to get it this quick, so I went ahead and canceled 2 other veterinarian places where I had gotten appointments later that week.A lady called me back a few days later to tell me that their new employee had made a mistake, and gave me an appointment where it won’t work in their schedule. The lady on the phone suggested a new appointment in 2 weeks.I’m honestly disappointed in the service and I will not be going to this place.I give this place 2 stars, only because the woman on the phone was very nice about it.I just don’t understand why the new girl was taking appointments. This place just needs more management.

The staff and vet treated our two rats very kindly and professionally. Waited about half an hour after our appointment time to see the technicians, and the price for a quick check-up seemed a bit high. All in all a positive experience, and I'd recommend for rat owners in the area.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about these guys. They’ve patched up and checked on my fur babies more than once. Service is always amazing with super friendly staff. A bunch of our appointments have been during covid and we couldn’t go into the vet. But they put you at ease and great your animals like their own. You get multiple phone calls during the appointment which makes it simple to communicate your concerns. And when your pet is done they always tell you how it went; if they were nervous, if they were frightened, or if they were just super chill and happy to be with people.

Ever since they moved to the new location on Laurier, they changed their receptionists and they're horrible! The older lady who works at the reception has called me to change the date of an appointment, only to get a phone call from another receptionist later on to ask me why I have two appointments. This has happened twice so far. In addition to this, while I was waiting with my cat in one of the consultation rooms, I witnessed the older receptionist put people on hold for 10-15 minutes even though she wasn't busy!!! Then she would pick up the phone and ask the person if someone had already served them, even though she was the only one working at the reception. I've also witnessed people get mad at her which didn't surprise me at all.

Always took care of all our rats. Lots of suggestions for treatment for various late life conditions, and not pushy about any procedure. Sometimes I almost wish they would decide for me! You get to choose what to do after a full explanation. Everyone here loved and were gentle to our rats as if they were any other cute creature, and were knowledgeable about their needs. Each one received a condolence card at the end, signed by staff - a really sweet gesture, especially for small animals, since you can sometimes doubt anyone cares about them like you do.

I bring both of my cats to Anima-Plus Laurier for regular visits, vaccines and so on. I don't have any complaints, my cats were always treated with care and love I could tell.
