I did the discovery flight and it was excellent. Everyone at the club was friendly and welcoming. I flew with Justin, he made sure to take lots of time to explain everything and made the whole experience really enjoyable.

After visiting many flying schools in Edmonton, I decided to stay with these guys, and I would recommend this place to anyone. Especially if you want to get your license while maintaining a full time job, and pay as you go. Well maintained airplanes, good administration, cheap rates and pretty chilled. They treat you like a grown up. And last but not least, the instructors are phenomenal, which is the most crucial part for a school. I have flown with two different instructors since I started, and if I would have to chose between one of them, It would have been a difficult call.

Update: June 25 2022This irresponsible company flew over North Edmonton in such a way to maximize the amount of noise and danger to the people below. I don't understand the rationale. Common sense would dictate that you should AVOID built up areas.Unfortunately, they like to practise over populated areas, this ruining our peace and quiet and endangering our lives. Please fly over vacant land.

This Flying Club must operate very old planes; I can always tell when they are flying over my home. Their plane(s) is LOUD! It sounds like it is 40 or 50 years old. Which leads to the question: Why are pilots being trained over populated areas? Is this not dangerous? When the plane crashes into a home or business, who is at fault? Mine? Because I choose to live under a training flight path? The lawsuits would be crippling when one of these planes crashes .... never mind the injuries or even deaths. Would it not be prudent to fly over the many kilometers of UNPOPULATED areas in this province? Just asking.

Great experience, the airport has really grown in the last year's offering precision approaches and great flight training with amazing savings in the Edmonton area!! For flight training or time building deffiently best choice in Edmonton area !!
