On the night of April 5, I ordered takeout. One of them is sesame paste noodles, but they forgot to give me the sesame sauce, so there was only dry noodle that I couldn't eat. Then I politely called them to talk about the situation. A woman who answered the phone had a very bad attitude and said, so what do you want?" I just explained the situation and wanted her to prepare for me to pick it up what she forgot to pack. It takes me 15 minutes to drive back to get the sauce. I was so shocked the woman was acting like that. I am really disappointed with this store and never go back."

Their dumplings are so tasty I had to buy some frozen and bring home.Also tried Braised Pork rice and the pork is just right.

Staff were friendly and the food came out fast. The FuMin combo with wonton was good. Broth was very tasty. Dumplings were juicy on the inside and great.The dry noodle with braised pork chops were also very tasty. There’s a self serve tea and water station near the door. So help yourself.

Cramped table for 5 people, they don’t clean dishes fast enough before new food is placed on table, so I ate with dirty dishes piling in front of my face.Self serve water/tea serviceThe dumpling is pan fried, nothing special..soup noodles soup base is same thing for all the orders, only toppings are different. Not worth $20 for a red pork soup noodle.BUT the braised pork is actually one of the best tasting pork’s I’ve had.spicy Dry noodle was good. It was nice that the server warned us to not pour the sauce in because it would be too overpowering and she was right. Add in sauce to your liking.Picked vegetable and pork soup noodle isn’t worth it because the veggie and pork bits was so little that it dissipated in the soup and you wouldn’t be able to retrieve it once u mix it around. It was just too much soup ratio to noodles and toppings.The soup and noodles was really nothing special at all.I would def give them the extra stars for the delicious toppings thought. Everything else was lacking. ( maybe one day I will try DF pork chop…)

This is a new location aside from the Kingsway one.Best Shanghainese cuisine in town. Very enthusiastic, tastes exactly the same like what I had back in Shanghai.Dumplings are big and juicy, noodles are firm with the right flavor.The complementary bean they have which is a unique Shanghainese dish that also tastes amazing.Their tea egg is the best one I have tried in Vancouver as well.If you are a Shanghainese or love Shanghainese food, this is a must try place.

Shanghai Dumpling King (Richmond)
The first experience of fried dumplings was great, as I've only eaten steamed dumplings. Lots of soup inside, so you need to be careful when biting into it. Only 1 type of dumpling on the menu. The flavors were good. The staff were all friendly and nice.Would recommend if you have not tried this restaurant or friend dumplings in general, you won't be disappointed.

The wonderful smells are what caught my attention. Lots of yummy options. I had the ground pork spicy noodle soup. Arrived very quickly and was delicious. Portion was large and price was fair. Only gripe, the special menu was only in Chinese so I had to ask the table beside me to help which they were good sports and helped
