Shikomu Karate Club

My daughters have been working with this group of dedicated Karate instructors for almost two years. The team is very supportive and are keenly interested in helping all people learn the art of Karate. In particular, the support offered to younger people, to help them grow and strengthen their minds and bodies in this martial art is greatly appreciated, at least for this parent. I have watched my youngest go from indifference to being focused and this has helped her mental strength outside of the dojo. My eldest has found a sport that she is good at and is now striving for the never-ending 'next belt'. The team of instructors are dedicated, motivating and most importantly, they help their students have fun learning this form of martial art.

Shikoku karate club is a true hidden gem. The Sensei’s are dedicated and the instruction is superb. The students range in years from very young to very old. I am 59. If you want to learn karate for either health reasons or self defense, this is the place. I can’t praise it highly enough.
