This salon gives people discounts for writing positive reviews, which may explain why there are so many good reviews here! However, I had a bad experience and will not be returning. I had a permanent hair straightening treatment with Justin a couple of weeks ago. The job itself was okay, but I had difficulty communicating my exact needs to him as he cannot speak English at all. That was not the worst part of my experience, though. When it was time to pay, I decided not to leave a tip since tipping is optional, right? However, one of the stylists, an aggressive woman (Dianne I guess) , began shouting at me and called me a rude customer!!!! She would not let me leave without paying a tip. I ended up paying the tip despite my own decision and left the salon for ever!

I recently got my hair highlighted and I couldn't be happier with the results! The stylist took the time to listen to what I wanted and gave me great advice on what would look best with my hair type and skin tone. The color turned out to be exactly what I wanted and it has brightened up my whole look. The highlights are so natural looking and they blend perfectly with my hair.Not only was the coloring process done professionally, but the salon itself was also very clean and inviting. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made me feel at ease throughout the entire process.I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking to get their hair highlighted. The stylist is truly a master of their craft and I will definitely be returning for future appointments. Thank you so much for giving me the beautiful hair that I've always wanted

Justin is very professional, knowledgeable and friendly .He does an excellent job in covering my grey roots, cutting and styling my hair every time. He is a world-class stylist who comes from a long-time experience in his profession. He deserves more than 5 stars.

My 4/year old son and myself have been doing haircut at CIEL hair salon for a long time and very happy with their service. The staffs are super friendly and the r atmosphere is relax, price is very reasonable. I just did my hair colour today and the stylist Roy gave me recommendation and explain the details to me which make me feel comfortable with and also satisfied. Highly recommend.

I had my hair coloured black as I always do, this is the first time I’ve been here and as a disclaimer I’m not doing this post for the discount as advertised I just genuinely had a wonderful experience. I’ve been to many salons for the same service i received today and this one is by far the best. He was so meticulous and clearly cared about the outcome of the service. Will 100% be returning ☺️

Very unreliable haircuts. I've been going here for over a year now and it keeps getting worse. I show a picture each time and describe the cut. This time around I basically got the opposite of what I asked for. It was very boxy and short when I asked for long on the top and short on the sides like a quiff/pompadour. I feel bad because I know the barber doesn't speak good English (this is why I brought in a picture) but this wil definitely be my final visit.

I went to get my roots coloured. The stylist did her job and I have no complains about the colouring. It’s a simple colouring job so everything went ok. The reason I only gave 3 stars was the stylist was not friendly and she didn’t dry my hair completely. It was still partially wet when she’s done. When I told her to dry it more, I can tell she was not happy and only spent like 30 more seconds.I feel it’s a basic thing to completely dry your customer’s hair especially it’s a bit cold outside.For spending about $100+ for roots colouring (and I was not fussed about not completely having the same color), I would rather go to a comfortable salon environment, a friendly stylist who would dry my hair completely.Please be aware they gave 5%discount if you left a positive review (and approved to them). I think that’s the reason the ratings are higher.

Friendly staff, didn’t mess me up (thank gosh) and overall great experience I would recommend here especially if your going for a perm or new hairstyle

I always come here for my magic straight perm with Dianne. She always does such a wonderful style for my hair. I love her work. Definitely recommend her!!

Justin did a great job of fixing my bad haircut! He did it exactly as I requested from the photo reference I showed him. Good value as it includes a hair wash and styling at the end.
