I recently donated a significant number of items including a high chair and summer clothes, wanting families in need to have them for free rather than see them sold at places like Value Village.I was shocked and disappointed to receive not so much as a hello or even a smile when I arrived. Nor a thank you after 5 trips to the car in the rain. The woman actually looked at me as if she felt I didn't belong. Like just drop your stuff and get the hell out" kind of look.I hate the thought of donating to somewhere that makes people purchase much needed items

Warm and inviting. If you need help with food, clothes or just a good conversation they are more than happy to help out. I've gone a few times and always was greeted with a smile. I recommend to all neighbors in the area if you need some help or just want to chat over a cup of coffee you are all welcome to join.
