Georgian Dental ️Barrie

Today I had my first appointment for hygiene of my teeth. Danielle helped me to get my teeth clean also she cleared every doubts i had. She also gave some good suggestions. I would recommend Georgian Dental Barrie and also Danielle.

My first appointment went very well. Fabiana gave me an excellent and very thorough cleaning. She got rid of all my tea stains! She was very knowledgeable, friendly and personable and put me at ease. Dr.Meghan was also very nice and knowledgeable. My anxiety towards dental visits was addressed and Dr.Meghan listened and assured me that I would be well cared for during my visits. I’m very impressed with this dental practice.

I decided to go to Georgian dental after reading some good reviews. Dr. Meghan is really good at her job. The best part is that they pay attention to all the questions and concerns and explain everything properly. I am really happy with the service. I would also like to mention that the hygienist Nikki has such a calming vibe to her. I am always anxious to see the dentist and for some reason, I was more relaxed around her. I would recommend Georgian Dental to my friends and family.

My experience here was unfortunately very bad. The cleaning I got was fine, however when I went to see the dentist it took over 45 minutes to finally speak with him. After waiting 45 minutes I spoke to Dr.Tehrani for all of five minutes, during which I asked to have a tooth polished as it was getting sharp. After this it took less than 5 minutes to polish the one tooth. I was charged for a cleaning ($192), the polishing ($28), as I expected. What I was not expecting was the charge of over $150 for a five minute conversation with a Dentist while a dental examination has only ever cost me $40. When I called to follow up, the receptionist could not provide me with a reason as to why I was charged $150 for a five minute examination that didn’t even include looking at x-rays or anything and never followed up with me like I requested. Lastly, I told the administrator who cashed me out that I needed an invoice receipt to claim for my insurance, and they gave me a form with nothing but the charges on my card and my name; it didn’t have my address, didn’t have the dentist information, and didn’t have the codes needed for the insurance companies. This nightmare experience has cost me a lot of time going back-and-forth between the dentist office and the insurance company. Do not recommend and will not be going back.

I have been a long time patient, since they were located on Bell Farm Road. For the last 3 or 4 years my level of dissatisfaction has constantly grown. I have good teeth but have had one cavity for the last few decades that needs some attention every few years. Last August, four full months ago I went in to have some work done on this tooth and another below it that apparently had a cavity too. I've never felt or seen it but they said it was there. I didn't get to see an x-ray. The dentist that sat me down was a young dark haired woman that I've never seen before. She got to work on these two areas and another minor touch up in another spot. My honest assessment is that she botched the procedure and was too rough. She had to redo the top one a second time because the filling didn't stick after the UV exposure. I am in pain every day. I have to eat and drink differently now. Very carefully and only on one side. Anything hot or cold or chewy sets me off like a vice grip on my jaw bone. Drinking liquid at any temperature has to be sipped over to one side. At least they are both on the left. If they weren't I don't know what I'd do. I use sensitive teeth toothpaste but I have never been in this situation in my entire life. She might think she did a good job but I wish I never went in. She was also talking the whole time so I wouldn't doubt that she was distracted. The whole family is switching Dentists.

I went in nervous, I had to get work that took a lot of time and honestly the staff made experience fabulous. Gentle, kind and I am so happy with the results! Best dentist in Barrie.

I was impressed with how professional and competent all of staff were.I am in a bit of a pickle right now with no top teeth that I can eat with but also financially pressed to the degree that I am living in an uninsulated cottage with no running waterI do not have dental insurance coverage and therefore also appreciated the reduction in the cost of the service I received todayThank You
