Vector Eye Centre

I was referred to Dr. Jamie Bhamra for cataract surgery Sept 22'. Consult in early November and had the first surgery in March at the Holy Cross Centre and the second at the TLC laser centre in May. I just received a clean bill of eye health at the 2 wks post surgery! I highly recommend Dr. Bhamra, Dr. Harapiak and the staff at the Vector Eye Centre. They are very professional and friendly. Very clear directions were given on how to treat dry eyes and to prep for surgeries and the eye drops chart is the absolute bomb!I appreciate the magic of being able to see clearly without contacts and reading glasses after the surgeries. Thank you Dr. Bhamra!!

The entire staff at Vector is so friendly and professional. I especially appreciated the professionalism of Dr. Bhamra and Dr. Harapiak. Dr. Bhamra went above and beyond in one situation when I requested his advice.I do have one complaint, I missed the SuperBowl and the Academy Awards because of my surgery booking times -haha. Seriously I could not have asked for better care.Thank you Vector Eye staff.

Been to Vector Eye clinic a few times after cateract surgery. They are effient, though, always on time. Also provide great feedback on any eye or related health concerns. I appreciate getting quality eye care here.

I really tried with this place. I gave it an honest try for over years before writing this but I will be honest and say all the reviews about the rude staff are pretty accurate, it's clear that people here don't like their jobs, you are shoved from one room to another like livestock, barely being spoken to. Only one person one time in the years I have gone was really pleasant to deal with YIKES! Also they overcharge for typography pictures. I am appalled at how they price gouge their clients!!! If you need topographical eye images I recommend you go elsewhere for a reasonable price and just bring them to your appointment if you choose to go here, if everyone does this maybe the clinic will be more fair to clients and charge decent rates for out of pocket tests. Don't forget a mask or they will charge you $1 for one (yet evereywhere else that requires one still provides them free of charge) guess they are trying to gouge for everything so it shouldn't be surprising. I have had eye issues much of my life and dealt with many eye care practitioners this clinic is definitely the least caring

I attended Vector Eye Centre for diagnosis and treatment of “dry eye”. Their processes are efficient and staff were caring and professional. Special thanks to Alison who completed my series of three treatments carefully and competently. My symptoms have significantly improved!!

I was disappointed by Dr. Brahma. He refused to listen to the history, associated my eye. He sent me home with products from his clinic and the understanding that I was welcome to purchase treatments at a later date. After working with my GP and regular eye doctor we understand that dry eye treatments will not help my condition; we are looking at autoimmune disorders.In addition to this a good friend saw Dr. Brahma as well. She has cataracts and changing vision, needing to retain independence is a priority. Her condition is worsening and rather than building a plan to treat the cataracts, Dr. Brahma offered her dry eye treatments instead.Calgary is dry and now exacerbated do to climate change. Dry eye treatments are costly and not always the problem. Privatization leaves people at the mercy of clinics, in competition with each other, they all sell the same things. If private doctors refuse to answer questions and are easily aggravated, you may need to involve other opinions from a trusted source like a GP.

The staff at Vector are amazing! They were so kind, patient, and knowledgeable when treating my father for cataracts.

I wish I had been referred here sooner. Very professional and transparent discussion around my treatment options with the Doctor. Allison was great during treatments and appreciated her open dialog and feedback on progress improvements. Very pleased with the outcome, thanks.

My mother needed cataract surgery so i booked a consultation. I was told we needed a dry eye treatment and was booked a consultation. After paying and going through the consultation they asked for more money for the treatment. The treatment is basically massaging your eyes while they are closed with warm eye mask that you can get off amazon for 25 Bucks. This was in no way a treatment but only temporary relief and you have to do this at home. I was not told that this is optional and only told that after going through the payed consultation. I didnt say anything at that time as i wanted to make sure that the surgery went smoothly. But shame on these people for doing this specially to the elderly. Despicable practice and i hope someone takes notice of this and stop you guys.
