Boaden Banquet

My wedding took place back in September 2022. I wanted to try and post my honest review without any harboring any negative feelings but so many things went wrong within the 7 hrs we spent there. First, my fiancé (now husband) dropped off our USB with our dedicated music to the chef at the back of the building as instructed by our coordinator of the day Linda if she wasn't there. So when we were about to walk down the aisle, I instantly knew they didnt receive our usb as they were playing the wrong songs in the incorrect order. They also switched around the signing of the marriage certificate and cake cutting music and even our traditional money dance music and our first dance.Once our small ceremony was completed, we noticed the bridesmaid/groomsman table was missing a chair so one person had to stand for at least 10 min while food was being served. The bread was served later for some tables and some guests even complained that their food was raw. One of my bridesmaid is vegan and was offered a meat meal at least 3 times. Imagine if she had an allergy instead. Our entrée was the wrong meal from what we had during tasting (i have attached pictures) and as compensation, Linda mentioned she was going to provide is champagne which also never showed up.We mentioned to the dj previously that we didn't want people banging on the plates but once our guest decided to, our dj did nothing to stop him even when our wedding party told him to stop, he ignored them. We also asked if he could provide a centerpiece game which he did not even acknowledge. Overall, he did not follow our music selection and just played anything he had. Not even 1 slow dance.We also had 1 of 2 bartender that demanded tips for our guests even though it's open bar and we already paid 15% gratuity. He also cut off our best man after 2 drinks. We don't know if he cut off anyone else but he also provided one of our guest straight rum with a bit of coke.When my husband called to speak with someone multiples times after our wedding, we either had no one pick up, mentioned that they were sorry and will speak with Ciro or the last response was they couldn't do anything because they gave us pre-covid pricing. So basically they can allow horrible service because we just paid what we were told to pay. I will never again come here for any celebration as no one would take responsibility. Overall I love my marriage but hated my wedding and it's not something we can redo. We spent a lot amd it was not worth it.The icing on the cake, they put our top layer of our cake in a stinky box to take home.

My husband and I had our reception last night in the Spanish room. Everything was eligent and lovely. The cake was beautiful,our tables were dressed up beautifully. It was walking into an dream of enchantment. We had our first dance and it was so magical the way the DJ Mike dressed up the dance floor. The food was incredible the desert was so tasteful soft and inviting it was like a dream. I would recommend this place for any occasionBut for a wedding it was incredible. The wait staff we helpful and friendly.Thank you Linda and Louie for making our dream come true.

We had our Wedding Reception on Saturday September 4, 2021 at Boaden's Banquet Centre. The evening was phenomenal, our guest repeatedly complemented on how delicious and well prepared the food was that night. Vincent, our DJ was a lot of fun, had great taste in music, and was creative to engage everyone. A special thank you to Linda, who was so helpful, understanding, and supportive of us from the beginning.

My family threw our engagement party here and it was such a great experience. The food was amazing, the servers were so nice and friendly and Linda was so thoughtful and personally saw that all our guests were taken care of! Such an amazing venue

Went here for my friends wedding reception and it was great. It was a beautifully set up room, with great staff and the food was really good as well. It fit about 100 people very comfortably, but probably not good for crowds much larger than that.

We booked our wedding 3 years ago and Louie and Linda and staff were so accommodating to the multiple changes in dates through the pandemic. They were supportive and professional the whole way through. There were times where we felt discouraged by the pandemic and almost gave up on our dream for a big wedding, and Louie and Linda were extremely accommodating, understanding and supportive through it. Linda answered my endless questions and helped calm my nerves and reassure me that the day would be beautiful - she was 100% right! Our guests have raves about the food and the overall experience - some have said it was the best wedding ever! We are eternally grateful that we had our special day here and we are super thankful for the love and support the entire staff at Boadens showered us with from start to finish. From the excellent catering and kitchen staff, the DJ, the bartenders, the beautiful set up - we are super happy! Highly recommend Boadens!!!!

Boaden Catering did an exceptional job for sons graduation from school. Linda was accomodating to our requests and was flexible in the other arrangements. Most people liked the stuff Chicken meal best.

I held my daughter’s birthday party in the Spanish Hall. Linda was flexible with allowing us time to decorate, which was very helpful. The hall was the perfect size for our crowd, and our guests really enjoyed the sit-down dinner menu. Overall, we really enjoyed our night. Thanks to Linda!

Boaden Banquet. Thank you for a wonderful evening, you pulled out all the best for our family baby shower. What a beautiful experience and an incredible day ❤️The service was excellent, the food was Devine, chef you out did yourself. Boaden Banquet Hall was one of the best venues I've seen. I didn't need much décor as the venue itself is already gorgeous . I had my daughter’s Birthday “ Qinceanera”at Boaden in Spanish Room in Nov. 2019.Ciro was in charge of my event from the beginning until the party finished, and he was wonderful for everything he did. Ciro was very kind, responsible and very helpful , in general he was amazing!!!!!The food was delicious ,and the rest of the team such Maria , the chef and waiters very professionals.The service that we received at Boaden was impeccable! We felt so special, and can't thank enough for everything!My family , friends and special my daughter was so happy the we celebrate her birthday party at Boaden.We were very satisfied.
