Granville Island Water Park

Very messed up that they’d open the water park but not the water slide. The slide is not close off, so kids can still go down and seriously hurt themselves on a hot slide with no water. What is the point in opening the park but not the slide??? It’s nearly 30 degrees. Won’t be bringing them back to this park any time soon.

Very good place for children.Water slide open on weekend now and open everyday during summer vacation.

Park was crowded but had great shaded areas and beautiful scenery.

Excellent option to go with kids on a sunny day! The water park has a slide, fire hydrants and other watering toys. Around the park there’re many options of restaurants and coffees.

The kids and I took public transit from our North Van hotel to see this spray park after a tourist leaflet we had touted it as Canada's largest free outdoor spray park. After over an hour of travel time, we were a little dismayed to see that it really isnt that large at all. However it was clean and well maintained and indeed free, which is nice. I think my kids at 11 and 9 yrs old were a little too old for it, and it would be ideal for toddler aged kids. There is a nice grassy area for picnicking and setting up a day spot. There is small pond with geese and ducks to watch and lots of shady areas. It was busy, but not unbearably packed. Overall the experience was good, and added to our Granville Island visit in a positive way.

Grear park. Water slide is only open on weekends.

Even though the water slide is closed but the playground is so nice!!! The floor is soft so I don’t need to worry my baby falls! My son loves this place!!! Very beautiful too!

Granville Island is a great place to visit. Bring the friends bring the kids bring the family. The waterpark is great when it's open. On a nice sunny day there's a great park for the kids and running water. The community center is close by with toilets. You'll see plenty of Wildlife with raccoons Ducks, geese and skunks and the occasional coyote. There is also food and a market close by. Remember that Granville Island for the most part shuts down at 7 pm. There are a few private restaurants that stay open late.

Best small water park in summer time.It's free and it cool you down.Best part is you can bring your small BBQ stove there or Buy some food at store their.
