First and foremost the service was exceptional! The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The floor models were well chosen to give a great foundation of presenting the possible options available. As well, there was an incredible breadth of additional selection through custom ordering. I highly recommend visiting this store when shopping for furniture!!!

Very poor experience. Custom dining table delivered. Darker than we choose...looks black. Wormy maple this dark looks like damaged goods. Sheen on table very low even though we made a point of asking for substantial shine. Table base is still not fixed to the top of the table as the the studs in the base were put into deep and screws won't attach. Still waiting for service nine days since delivery. Unusable. We called and called and called. We were told sorry, but, no offer of help. Restocking fee is 30% which would be close to a thousand dollars if we returned it. Some areas underneath table top not stained. This was our third custom piece. Huge disappointment in quality, usability, service and lack of interest in customer satisfaction. Buyer beware!Thank you for your response. At $3,290.97, I would hardly call a 52 inch round table made from wormy maple a cost effective solution. In my opinion. The solutions you offered us were at our additinal cost ranging from 300.00 to 1,000.00 dollars. The first attempt to service the table resulted in a hold while awaiting a quote to refinish the surface. The second call from us for an update was to say how much the quote was. The 3rd call was to have your technician come out today. That call was made Friday. At no time were we offered multiple service dates. Thank you for the opportunity to clarify. Please note the first two custom pieces we ordered were stunning.

It’s such a pleasure to shop in a store with staff who understand how to deliver on excellent customer service, while offering quality furniture. Alex, our salesperson, was attentive and listened to our ideas. He offered suggestions based on what we were looking for, and was able to help us customize the pieces we selected. Honestly, if you’re looking for handmade furniture, at a reasonable price, from a reputable store, with great staff, go to St. Jacobs Furnishings. We are repeat customers and continue to be satisfied.

This was a great experience with great friendly service with loads of experience. We will return in the fall to purchase more furniture. The 4 of us that made purchases and more than pleased about our experience at your store, 2 thumbs up and thank you.

Paula Fler helped us with our purchases, kept us updated on build progress, answered many questions via email, made the whole experience easy and pleasant. She's excellent at her job! We couldn't have been happier with her service.The furniture is outstanding!! Exactly what we expected and the quality standard we expected. You absolutely get the quality and craftsmanship you pay for. This is heritage furniture that will be passed down for generations.The delivery experience was excellent. They have good collection of furniture. I felt that staff is rude, asking same question twice is problematic for them and they kind of consider it arguing, especially after sale. For some reason they push wormy maple wood. Even though I was made aware there will be worm holes in the wood, I was not expecting whole dining table to be filled with small holes. The solution provided to me is replacing it with on-floor model. They made it clear that they can't do anything else. It is bit of bummer for me after spending good amount of money. Overall, I am not satisfied.

Kim was an absolute pleasure to work with. The colour of my chairs match my table perfectly. I definitely recommend St Jacobs furniture if you like good quality solid wood furniture.

I visited St Jacobs Furnishings today in search of a dining room set and was not disappointed. We were greeted by Jil and she was fantastic through the whole process. We were able to pick out a table in our price range and she helped us pick the right chairs to suit our needs. We were lucky enough to get the save the tax sale as well. I am super excited to have found the furniture we've been searching for and I would gladly return for further purchases. I can't wait to get it delivered.
