I have been so happy with Dr. Steinitz. He has been incredibly compassionate while keeping me fully informed. I have a unique fracture which terrified me in the beginning but I don't think I'd be where I am today without him.

Four weeks ago I broke my wrist and needed surgery. Dr Steinitz was my surgeon and I couldn't be happier. Highly knowledgeable and skilled. I am so pleased with the outcome of my recovery. Exceptional surgeon!!Monika his assistant is very nice and provides great customer service.

Took an elderly man in today,sat for over 3 hours just for this dr to drill him about his weight . he had no concerns about this man's ailing leg problem what so ever. We were referred by a dr from trenton hospitial who took x-rays and said the knee was ripped in behind.now this poor man is extremely terrified to even see a dr.not at all happy with the services from this dr

Dan Steinitz is an awesome man AND surgeon. He is honest and straight to the point. No mincing words. He cares about his patients.

I had surgery for keinboks disease. It's quite rare. Dr. Steinitz was amazing and his secretary Monica was amazing also!

Dr. Steinitz shares his surgical statistics, explains the surgical procedure and answers all your questions clearly and patiently. He told me that he wanted his patients to be comfortable and confident going into surgery. Heard that before? Excellent surgeon with compassionate bedside manner.

I rate Dr. Steinitz very highly. From start to finish my dealings with Dr. Steinitz as a patient were 100% positive. I had a serious injury to my knee which required timely surgery. Dr. Steinitz came into the hospital on a Sunday morning to operate. He told me like it was related to my injury, explained what he had to do, how he was going to do it, and what I could expect on the long road to a meaningful recovery. I won't write a book here but I saw Dr. Steinitz both at the hospital fracture clinic and at Quinte Ortho in the 8 weeks which followed. The follow up treatment was top notch, very professional, and unfolded text book to what I was advised on the day of my surgery. Dr. Steinitz then arranged for me to move into ortho rehab treatment under the direction of Austin Gaber, a rehab specialist at Quinte Ortho. It is worthy of note, that during my first treatment at Quinte Ortho, Dr. Steinitz left his office at the center to visit with me while I was on the physio table. He inquired about how I was doing and assured me that I was in good hands with Austin who would take my recovery from there. Before leaving, Dr. Steinitz advised me not to hesitate to contact his office if I needed anything further. It has now been 14 weeks since the surgery and ahead of schedule, I am walking again on my own with confidence. With 125 degrees of rotation in my knee I was just released from the formal in clinic rehab program. I will now carry on with my physio at home to achieve a full recovery.

sat in his office for over an hour and waited for him. when he came in finally at no time did he look at or examine my knee which is why i was referred.multiple times he suggested different treatments all with a $$ price involved. AT NO TIME DID HE LOOK AT OR EXAMINE MY KNEE!!HE WAS VERY DISMISSIVE AND KIND OF RUDE SEEMED LIKE HE WAS TRYING TO UPSALE INJECTIONS AND NOTHING MORE . I WILL SEEK A 2ND OPINION AND WOULD NEVER USE SOMEONE LIKE THIS. IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULDhe wasnt in the room for a total of 3 minutes and showed a total lack of compassioni am NOT a member of team canada this is just my email addy

Poor bedside manner. Rude and dismissive.Rushes to deal with patient or their family. I can only assume rushes in the OR as we nearly lost my mother in law a week after surgery. He cut her femoral artery during the surgery.
