Planning to Frame a large limited print & had no idea where to start. I can't believe how quickly I was able to decide with the help of their experts. Note they were keeping the cost in mind at all times. No constant upselling. Other staff members also contributed their opinions. I'll post the finished product once I once they're done with it.

A huge shout out to this team and especially Laura! We bought a Xmas tree that had faulty lights on it. When we called to inquire about exchanging, they had 0 in stock and said that we could return and order one online. We checked online and this tree was out of stock across Alberta stores and out of stock online. We asked if we could exchange for a similar tree while honouring our price tag or possibly exchange for a display tree if they still had it. The team looked into it and when they called us back promptly, they surprised us. After doing some extra digging, they were able to find our tree, brand new box, tucked away in their inventory. It was a pleasant experience with them handling this scenario and an even luckier outcome all because of their extra help and genuine concern. Thank you team Michaels in Okotoks, for your great customer service! <3

Michaels is a one-stop shopping place for all your creative and artistic needs. They can be a bit pricey, but if you watch for sales and use their weekly coupons, it's well worth browsing their shelves. The staff is very knowledgeable of the products in stock and how to use them and are more than willing to assist you. The aisles are always clean and the store well stocked. I see they've done some rearranging recently, but you don't have to go too far to find what you need. Or just ask a friendly associate! Check it out for yourself!

The thing I like about Michaels has to be the staff. Very accommodating and engaging, they genuinely seem to enjoy helping you out.I took my socially challenged mother-in-law in there once, she excels at being difficult and obtuse in retail settings and the staff were very professional and dealt with her calmly and firmly. Once I had deposited her into the car, I went back into the store to thank the staff and of course apologise for my mother-in-law which was very welcomed.Michaels tend to have a wide array of pricing, I don't think you ever need to pay full price in there so watch out for sales, coupons and frequent offers before you spend.

Selection was pretty good but prices are up, just like everywhere else.

A bit overpriced for what you get there for a lot of the craft stuff but, they have the craft stuff you can't find elsewhere!Super clean, stocked and kind staff.

Always had issues, issues continue. Years ago attitude kept me from giving this location my framing work. Now, with no framers in town that I’m aware ok I thought to give them another chance.New attempt round 1 - framer isn’t around or available. 1500 hrs.Round 2 - couldn’t understand what I was after and why. Reliability lost.Round 3 - our framer went home. 1700 hrs.If your framer isn’t available during the posted hours, post the framers hours. I don’t live in town, the frame work is now worth a tank of fuel.Brutal.
