The Cactus Mexican Restaurant
Everything you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. We had a taco plate (3 different tacos, all delicious) and a vegetarian burrito. The meals were the perfect size. And the margarita was excellent. With 2 drinks, sharing a churro for dessert, and tip, the bill was under $50. Service was great too.

Quaint restaurant with terrific food and service. We had a large group which was very well handled. I had the Chimichanga and a Margarita. Delicious!

Words don’t describe it. It was a great experience, I mentioned that I was looking for some great home style Mexican food and the experience was amazing. The flavours were authentic and rich, the meat was fresh, flavourful, and so so tender. The soft tacos were fresh as well!The drink recommendation for the Squirt grapefruit sofa was perfect with the meal.The food was delicious, the pricing was perfect, and the service was EXEMPLARY!It get like being invited to a family members home for dinner. 12/10

The Ninjas checked out The Cactus tonight!The staff was so pleasant. They were attentive, fast and had a very warm demeanour. I can tell they really appreciate every customer that walks through the door.The food was amazing. I loved learning that most of their menu is gluten free.I got the Carne Asada . Everything on my plate was seasoned and cooked perfectly. It was fresh, flavourful and the best corn tortillas I have had in a while.Over all. Would 10/10 recommend. These folks put their heart into this and deserve all the success in the world :)

The food was delicious. The tacos de pastor were amazing, and the enchiladas looked to die for, that is what I’ll be getting next time.The service on the other hand wasn’t great, so manage your expectations on that front. They served some tortilla chips & salsas before the meal which were great, but a table of 6 received the same amount as a table of 1 or 2, which was a bit disappointing and an opportunity for improvement in my opinion.Our party was very impressed with the quality and flavour of the food.

Authentic Mexican food. The double meat enchiladas are fabulous! The service may seem slow or even haphazard because it's a family run business, but it's worth it.

i really recommend the nachos and churros here, SO YUM and portion size for nachos is huge. i think the tacos were just okay and not the best i’ve had and service was pretty good.
