The service provided by John at Montecristo Jewellers, Richmond Centre location is impeccable! My husband and I visited Montecristo Jewellers back in 2020 when we were shopping for our 25th wedding anniversary. I fell in love with a Rolex Oyster Perpetual ladies 31 mm watch but unfortunately due to supply issues, the watch was not available. Knowing how much I wanted the watch, my husband asked John to keep is eye out. True to his word, even after 3 years of searching, John contacted us as soon as the watch became available. I am now a proud owner of my second Rolex!All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Special thank you to John for his great service and Dennis for his extra help in sizing the watch!

I’m looking to buy my first luxury watch and wanted some information on the Sea-Dweller. Jean was very helpful with the questions I had. Having never tried one, they happened to have a two tone I could try out! The sizing was great on my wrist and helped me solidify my desire for a Sea-Dweller. Jean was very patient with her time. Would recommend, very welcoming environment!

10/10 experience!  My wife and I had a wonderful visit. I was looking for my 30th birthday gift. I would like to thank John and Dennis for their help and guidance. Not only the professional and knowledgeable, but also the passion for watches. It is an honour to be a part of the Rolex community. Thank you again for getting us the memorable piece. It was definitely one of the pleasurable shopping experience I have received in Vancouver and pick up my timepiece from Montecristo store. Lilian was the sales associate who made this experience so special to me. She was very knowledgeable and professional. She answered all the questions I had and gave me valuable suggestions. I would recommend Lilian to all my friends and family.

Called the evening before to make an appointment to view/order a Rolex. Person on the phone was a bit confused but said they opened at 10:00am and to come on in. Traveled 3.5 hours to visit the store only to be met by a locked door and lights off at 10:30am. Wife did some shopping across the hall and we stopped back at 11:00 to see that the lights were finally on and they were setting the pieces out to open the store. Waited 10 minutes and no one greeted me or even acknowledged we were there. Decided to go somewhere else. Do not recommend

The new space feels very familiar, taking design cues from their Oakridge store but at the same time being larger and more expansive. My go-to people for Montecristo are John and Jean. Plenty of times I've stopped by without any intention of buying anything, and they've always welcomed me and were happy to simply talk shop. When it finally came down to actually buying something, they were able to deliver their promise. Now that they're in my part of the neighbourhood, I'm likely going to be dropping by more often.

By far the worst customer service experience you can imagine. I was so eager to look at watches I came in. The sales rep lady was on her phone while I walk trying to talk to her, she had the audacity to make me wait until she was done using her phone to answer my question. Unbelievable!!

I would like to thank John for his exceptional customer service and the whole MonteCristo team (Richmond centre location) for their outstanding client relations. When buying a Rolex watch, most people celebrate milestones, achievements and special occasions. About 3 years ago (2020), my wife saw a 31mm OP and fell in love with it instantly. Our 25th wedding anniversary was coming up and I thought this Rolex would be the perfect anniversary gift for her. I talked to John and explained to him how important and how much it would mean to us if he can get us the watch. John said he will try his best but no guarantees on timeline. We have bought 3 Rolex watches from MonteCristo Oakridge in the past and hope we can continue to build on this relationship. With today’s worldwide shortage on Rolex watches, I understand this request might take awhile or might not even happen at all. I would visit John once every few months to keep in touch and continued to express our interest on the watch. Last week, John called me and said our 25th year anniversary present is ready for pick up. I was shocked that John didn’t forget about us and fought hard for us to obtain the watch. I am sure he can easily call up his other 20 great customers and sold it to them. His action speaks for his character, integrity and what Rolex stands for (celebration of milestones, achievements and special occasions). John was very helpful and professional when we picked up the watch. Great thanks to Dennis for assisting us to size the watch. Dennis is also helpful and knowledgeable if we have any questions. Overall, I like to thank John, Dennis and the whole MonteCristo team for making this happen for us and to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary with an awesome Rolex watch. It is nice to know MonteCristo looks after the best interest of the customer.

I wanted to write this review about the recent great experiences I have gotten at Montecristo, namely with the salesperson Jean. I originally purchased a few nice items through Jean for the Christmas season last year. I was careful about spending my money, so I went back to the store 3 times before finally committing to the purchases. Jean was always helpful and never dismissive each time I visited, even though it may have seemed like I was not ever going to buy something.I thought that would be the end of my interactions with the store, but I recently walked into Montecristo this past weekend and Jean happened to be working. She remembered my name and what I bought. Needless to say I was surprised by her memory and friendliness. She chatted with me for a while and asked me how my wife liked the Xmas gift. I was just window shopping, but she was happy to show me a few things without any pressure. Needless to say, I’ll be returning to her when I am ready to buy.

I recently purchased a timepiece as a gift for my fathers 65th birthday. I’ve been dealing with a couple of retailers and none of them gave us the level of service Denis provided.After Denis tracked down the timepiece we wanted, he didn’t rush us to a purchase - provided us with time to make a well informed decision.Thank you for your assistance Denis.
