Hotel entrance is next to an “Adult Shop”.It’s a rough area with a lot of homeless and drunk people. Didn’t feel safe. Our room (103) was impossible to sleep in due to loud music and people shouting until 3-4am.Also had cars playing and large trucks right though until morning. Room 103 is just a converted outdoor balcony that been enclosed with timber. Many other people were asking to move rooms due to noise. Expect cheap mattresses, terrible sheets and pillows. Feels like a hostel and seems a lot of money for what you get. We were able to get moved to a room on the 2nd floor away from the street on the following night which was much quieter thankfully. Still had the same very cheap mattress and pillows / sheets etc.

Great location no doubt, everything is closer to this place and it's a very touristy and fun vibe place, as a muslim it was easier for me to find halal food near by thankfully and also mosque is walkable distance. Talking about rooms its cozy french style small room with a used 100 years old blanket and not so cozy mattress. In this price i think they could have provided good utilities. You can hear people talking in the next room and room above, its so irritating. The only good thing is the location is near to all good places and connectivity is good.

I stayed here Feb 18-20, 2023. It was good. A 2 star hotel and fit my needs as a solo traveler. Room was dated but clean and large. Bed was not the most comfortable but fine for few days I stayed. TV definitely ain't smart but a non issue for me when traveling. There was a lavatory (sink) in my room but Bathroom is shared. It was clean and open when I needed it. They offered a complimentary breakfast but I was out early and missed it. Check in and out was simple and fast. People at reception were friendly and welcoming. Location is FANTASTIC. A few blocks from China Town, around 800m or so from the Old Port - walking distance AND You're literally less than a block or 2 from the main festival area. It will be noisy at night during anytime type of festival due to the location, so keep that in mind. The area around the hotel may appear shady" but I didn't have any issues nor saw any. Eating options nearby including a Tim Horton's and an IGA in a nearby indoor mall. Metro and Bus lines are nearby

Horrible experience. I called their receptionist for booking room with them. I couldn't understand what he was asking. He was asking me if I want a room with toilet. As i wasn't expecting that there are rooms without toilet , asked him couple times to repeat as I couldn't understand. He shouted at me and said everyone should know what toilet is. I said I know what toilet is, I just didn't understand . He hang up on me right away . I called him back and he shouted at me back and hang up again. I just couldn't believe people behave like this to customers. We definitely not staying there ever

Negative stars! Customer service sucks! The attendant thinks we live in a police state where we have to walk around with ID all the time. Avoid this place at all costs. A customer left complaining of smokers in a room and he did nothing.

Worst hotel I've ever been in. DO NOT GO THERE. Booked for two nights and I'm surprised I didn't leave in the middle of the first night. Didn't get any sleep at all due to poor isolation of the windows and the room was right across a bar with people outiside shouting until 3-4 am. Place was filthy with stains on the walls and in the bathroom. With a bed cover that hasn't been washed since the 90's. They reimbursed us the 2nd night so they get 1 star.

Great location right downtown of Montreal. The rooms are so nice size and clean, the price is so reasonable. The staff are so helpful and we felt so welcomed just like at home. Always stay at this hotel each time we go to Montreal. Best regards.

Good location and the room was clean. The bathroom was dim and felt uncomfortable and the building had a weird smell. The worst part were the windows. The blinds didn't close properly and some of the window frames had gaps allowing all the noises from the street right in. This made it difficult to sleep.

Stayed at this place back in November but decided to write a review now since Expedia has not gotten my refund back. DO NOT STAY HERE! This hotel" is located in the red light district and the room which I stayed in had grimy wooden floors and an itchy bed (which I then had to get checked for bed bug bites). Had someone trying my door knob in the middle of the night and decided in the morning that staying there another night wasn't worth it.When going to the desk with my complaints I was told I was out of luck for a refund and "that they were sorry I was having these issues". The photos in the reviews DO NOT reflect the location. Honestly surprised this place hasn't been health coded yet."

Anyone looking for a luxury experience won't find it here. However, it is not a bad hotel for visitors who want a place near the Metro (subway) line, and dozens of food+drink options nearby.The bathroom has no handheld shower heads and only bar soap in plastic wrap. Shampoos and body wash are in small tubes that are not as convenient as liquid soap in dispensers. Still, a generous amount of towels.Some suites might have full kitchens with huge fridges! There are enough wall outlets to charge devices.
