Delusions of Grandeur

I was a little surprised to find all these negative reviews, so I thought I would chime in. I decorated most of my condo with art and furniture from this place. Expensive, yes, but you won't find anything quite as unique anywhere else. Additionally, Ross was very pleasant. He even replaced a shelf that had a slight imperfection, and delivered it to me at no cost. I've been back a few times, and never had a bad experience.

Furniture quite nice, owner very unfriendly, not at all helpful or accommodating.

I walked in to check this shop out, as the displays in the windows had intrigued me for quite some time. I got a 'don't waste my time' vibe from the man working there. I won't be going back. There are dozens of shops selling more unique pieces anyway.

Have been visiting this store for almost 20 years now, and I am very surprised to read the negative reviews. Ross, my husband, and I talk on every visit. We catch up on each other's family. Ross is patient and I ramble on regarding the latest world event, and I learn a lot from him; he is very well read.In terms of the service - top drawer! Hence our shopping there for almost 20 years. Delusions of Grandeur is our first stop whenever we need anything for the house: furniture, wall decor, figurines - anything.If I want something custom made, Ross will take a sketch or inspiration photo and measurements, get us an estimate, and approximately 4 or 5 months later the items arrives - Perfect and fits in the house as expected.Have always found Ross to be courteous, friendly, patient. He is not pushy. He gives us space to walk around and look around and think. I really appreciate that.Have found the products to be beautifully made, durable, and perfect!My home has Delusions of Grandeur items from the foyer to the basement to the upper level.It is wonderful in a town like Ottawa to find a breath of beautiful fresh air in decor options.The choices in this town can be limited: when I am looking for a statement piece or a piece that is unique. Glad we have Ross and his store.Delusions of Grandeur is perfect.

Great store for unique peices of wood furniture and decorations.the owner is really helpful and hand delivered a really nice stone sculpture right our houseThey sell out door furniture as well.

Passed by for the first time and was AMAZED by the selection in store. Even left with a wonderful table I had not planned to buy. Service was over the top and very friendly.

How can anyone shop here with these business hours?
